Magpie has lots of cute/artsy/quirky gifts! It has quickly become my go-to. They have a good range of things -- art, pottery, books, cards, jewelry, etc. Lots of locally made products too! I've come many times for a last minute gift and never leave empty-handed. It's also a great place just to walk around and browse if you're in the Davis Square area.

Nice stuff but very overpriced. And more annoying is their reluctance to provide a receipt. On two recent occasions, they refused to provide one, saying that they would email one to me. They never did.

The most lovely shop with the most lovely employees. I ordered my husband’s Christmas gift over the phone and they packed it up for me with tissue paper and everything. They make it easy to shop local and support small businesses and makers. Thank you!

Well-curated and nicely presented. The staff is large, so most employees don't know much about individual items/makers (e.g., jewelry materials, which are often unlabeled). Regardless it's always a pleasure to browse and pick up gifts. I hope this shop pulls makes it through and continues to stick around.

Magpie is my favorite shop in Davis Square! Every member of their staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Each visit, I feel so much joy leaving with a beautiful card, incense, candle, and/or another special treasure! I love their inventory of many local artists and companies products as well. This is an absolute gem of a store that I recommend to anyone and everyone!

I can’t believe how long it took me to discover this shop, but I’m glad I did. Local and well-curated shop, with incredible selection of gorgeous craft goods, home goods, and print crafts. Excellent place to buy gifts for your queer and feminist fam while supporting a local independent crew.

Stopped in for a birthday gift for a friend. The two staff members in the store were so friendly and made some recommendations for jewelry I might like based on my interest in other earrings. Things are pretty expensive, but most items are handmade items so I expect a certain price point. The store is very cute and is a great place to look for a gift or pick up some interesting jewelry, a unique print, or a handmade card. Will be back!

Super cute little shop that has handmade pottery, little knickknacks, jewelry, stationery, books, cards, etc. Lots of great items for small, meaningful gifts for friends and family.
