Had a great experience with H.D. Chasen. I'm from out of town and needed some quick machining done with a quick turn around. I got same day service with exceptional pricing. The entire staff were extremely capable and friendly. I was also very pleased to find out that they make sure to carry a large assortment of metric cutting tools, this isn't the easiest to find here in the US. I look forward to working with these guys again. Mike and the crew are awesome!

I've been a customer of HD Chasen for almost twenty years now and they have helped me with numerous solutions for issues encountered during work in my prototype machine shop. They always have what I need, and if for some reason they don't, they go out of their way to help me solve my issue. A+++ service and support.

I have been a client of H.D. Chasen for the last few years and they have been fantastic to work with. We are always requesting unique items and they continually find a way to make things happen for us. They just helped me with a last minute request for some custom bandsaw blades and once again they got it done which prompted this review. Highly recommended!

Abrasive and rude with ludicrously uncalled-for behavior. I went with a friend to pick up a step drill bit and mentioned we were referred by a local tool-sharing community. Prices weren't listed, so after my friend found out the cost while checking out he called the contractor for whom he was picking the bit up; the contractor didn't want the bit for that price, so he cancelled the order and apologized to the salesman for his time. This took ten minutes or less. After leaving the store, what I assume was a manager came out after us and told us he wasn't interested in our business or the business of the community who referred us. He said he'd call the community and let them know he didn't want anyone else buying at his store again. Very well, we won't. I'm not sure why you thought it necessary to go out of your way to alienate business but you did a thorough job.
