“Affordable, convenient, and great selection of produce. There is also an area where you can buy dried goods in bulk, bring your own container or use one of the containers at the store.”
“There's always a new circumstance in which find myself thinking, "I'm so glad this market opened around the corner from my house!" From having chicken and vegetables during the pandemic shortages to today, when I just need some eggs. Judging by the fact customers are always coming ad going, I am guessing my neighbors feel the same way.”
“Always has samples, wine selection is great and cheap. Produce quality is good, though they haven’t had eggs the past month.
Only complaint is that it is absolutely slammed basically every day.”
“I've lived near this store for 3 years and it's perfect for every essential shopping need. They have kitchen & bathroom items, vegetables & fruit, juice & milk, and impulse buys & planned purchases. It's easy to call ahead and check if they have something too. They're the perfect corner store. I highly recommend shopping here.”
“I found this shop recently and I am simply surprised by the kind of collection they have got in the store. A literal one stop shop. Though I would have loved to see some more options in Green Vegetables! Was very happy with the customer service.”

14 Bow St, Somerville“Did someone just say Capone's, Clear Flour Bread and cheeses in one sentence? What are you doing reading this - GO NOW. The pasta that Al - yes, his name really is Al Capone - makes is served in most of the high end and North End eateries. Here you can take it home frozen with any number of to die for sauces, throw in some garlickly shrimp, add that bread, wine to match, a candle and company. uuummh...you'll be loved and lovin it. GO.....read no more GO.”
“Very busy grocery store, but they do move people quickly in and out of the checkout lines simply because they have all of them open! Which is a rarity these days and a delight! I would recommend this location, seemingly fair prices and super convenient to the community around it. Parking can be a bit of a mess so would recommend walking if you can.”

57 Union Square, Somerville“Great place for shopping this is a a general grocery who have a full service butcher and cooked homestyle Brazilian food authentic in its preparation with excellent flavors. I highly recommend this place. Pictured below is s brazilian vaguette with some in store braised top sirloin butt with onions bought by the pound. Delish.”
“As a Californian, this place has all the essential Latin American goods. You can get essential spices for Latin American dishes, quick meats to cook, a variety of cheeses, and even a little bit of essential produce (e.g. tomatoes, cilantro, squash, and more). A great place for Latin American snacks and bread too! Being in Boston as a Mexican American made me a little sad until I ran into this place...feels like a little piece of home.”

1305 Broadway, Somerville“Went here once. They have a big selection of food and snacks. Lots of drinks, candy and canned food. A lot of the tough guys like to go there. It was a bit of a wait to pay for my stuff. I don't recall any cheap deals.”
“(Translated by Google) Excellent service and first class attention and I found everything I was looking for good prices very fresh fruits and vegetables(Original)Excelente servicio y atención de primera y encontré todo lo que busqué buenos precios frutas y verduras muy frescas”
“This is a phenomenal little store. It literally has everything a grocery store would have except meat. If you ever need anything, Tufts Market probably has it. Cannot speak highly enough of this little establishment. It’s incredible how much they do with this space. An asset to Ball Square.”
“Boy what a lot I'll tell you what. I went here with my car recently and they sure had a blast sitting in a spot. When I came back after shopping, they were still there enjoying the parking spot. I had to beg them just to take me home and leave the spot.”
“So I had several dealings with whom I presume was the Manager on Duty this evening. (She was a brunette white woman in her 20s, probably 5'6". I didn't get her name.) She really blew me away with her efficiency: in the span of 5 minutes that I was in the store, she supervised the self-checkout area, unlocked the customer service area and helped me return a Fedex package, removed several mis-scanned items from my cart, and found a lost credit card. All with a smile.”

1122 Broadway, Somerville“I've lived in a bunch of different Boston neighborhoods over the past few years & this is by far the best convenience store I've ever lived near. The owner is wicked nice and always makes you feel welcome. I usually go for Ben and Jerry's or a Polar seltzer (they have a huge variety of flavors for both) & once in a while some basic grocery stuff if I don't feel like walking to the grocery store. They always have everything I need. Ill be sad when I move away!”
“Such a friendly man owns this market and he always makes my day when I shop! They sell lots of stuff that a convenience store 'should have' and they sell slush which is super fun in the summer! Service is really amazing and the new owner has kept the friendly vibe that they have had for the past 20 years.”
“This store has a very good selection of foods from India and southeast Asia. The staff is friendly. When my in-laws visited us from India, they were impressed by the variety of snacks and food available.”
“I can always get in and out of this store quickly. It's great for picking up a few things. The prices are a little higher, but the convenience is worth it.”
“They have a ton of great plant based options, decent produce, and good products. Although sometimes it's hard to find some essentials and prices can be higher as compared to other grocery stores.”
“The store is a perfectly fine grocery store. Reasonably clean. Decent selection. Good service. For any Stop & Shop management reading this... the reason I come to this store is that you have the EV chargers outside. The convenience to charge while shopping is great. I wouldn't be at this store otherwise... and I'd have given you 5 stars if you had more chargers (since at times I've had to wait and that defeats the whole purpose to come there). Also, suggest you expand your anti-theft radius on the shopping carts by another 10 yards... they tend to lock up just short of the charging stations.”
“Whoever runs the bakery needs to lay off the heat in the oven. Every single box of cookies is over cooked or burnt. I just bought a box of the chocolate chip cookies with Hershey's and theyre hard as a rock. This has been an issue for a while and it's getting very irritating wasting my money on something that isn't made correctly.
There were 6 containers of sugar cookies in the discount section because they were overcooked. Y'all want to charge per flimsy paper bags but waste so much money by not putting out quality products. The person who makes the cookies needs a refresher course on baking because they are costing the company so much by ruining and wasting food.”
“I usually shop there. Mostly out of convince.Prices are fair, but I find the variety lacking. The deli/prepared food section has gone through a significant improvement in the summer of 2023.”
“Charming and quirky shop filled with all things mushroom! From fresh mushrooms and unique mushroom-themed accessories to a variety of teas, it’s a delightful spot that’s definitely worth a visit!”
