I've taken Partner Acrobatics 101 classes here and I love the caring and supportive nature of the instructors and fellow students! It's a very inclusive place. I felt that I was able to push myself a couple of steps outside of my comfort zone and am learning a ton, enjoying the journey and feeling accomplished along the way.

I love taking Circus classes with Esh so much! Every coach is extremely knowledgeable and able to help you achieve whatever you're looking to get out of the class. From folks who want to seriously perform circus routines to folks like me who are hoping to trick their body into exercise by moving my body in cool ways, the staff will help you get there. But they've also created such a warm and caring community culture in the students. Classes are small, but there are often other classes happening at the same time, with all of us warming up together, and waiting/leaving in the front room together. I'm in lower level classes, and I'll be talking with a friend about a move I'm having trouble with, and someone in a higher class will immediately reassure me that that move is complicated, and to stick with it. It's just a really great school and a really great community.

A heartfelt thank you to Karen and Jacqueline for making my first circus experience (as a participant, not friend, family, or fan) safe, welcoming, and really fun. I dropped in to Intro to Partner Acrobatics and boy, is stacking human beings a wonderfully weird and cool thing you do!As a coach myself, I learned a lot from watching really good coaches at work. Karen and Jacqueline do a really good job of explaining and respecting both the art and science of the craft, and sharing their knowledge and expertise in a way that is inviting rather than intimidating.Everything about Esh is professional, thoughtful, compassionate, and clearly designed to be elite without being exclusive. Your fellow athletes in more "traditional" sport spaces could learn a lot from you!

Friendly, accommodating, and welcoming to kids, adult athletes, and those who have never been to the gym before. Very respectful of people's identities and pronouns, and ready to help you achieve your goals, whether that's something complicated or just to try something different and new. I've been out of shape all my life but taking classes at Esh has helped me to become strong for the first time, without any gym guilt or unhealthy pressure. I look forward to class every week, but if I have to miss, the makeup policy is generous as well. Great place run by thoughtful staff with an involved community!2022 update: the staff really stepped up during the pandemic! As more information about COVID-19 transmission became available, Esh has adapted: online classes only at first, then new air filters, cleaning or isolation/quarantine of equipment between users, distancing/mask requirements that changed as circumstances did, and generally showing appropriate caution to prevent disease transmission. Esh is one of the few places that has felt truly low risk to visit--both cleaner and with less exposure to others in an hour-long class than in a 15-minute grocery run.10/2022: still love taking classes here. My health has not been as good this year for other reasons and I've dropped down levels of classes, but at no point has anyone made me feel less welcome or been hesitant about teaching me--rather, different modifications and more rest time have been proactively offered. Still deeply impressed with the level of care and thoughtful adaptations provided by Esh staff.

This place is awesome! I was visiting from LA, in late September 2021, and was looking for an aerial silks studio to go to. This was the only place I found and I'm so glad I did. I took Mandy's 501+ Aerial Silks class (their highest level) and had a ton of fun!I emailed them a couple of months before signing up for the class and sent them videos to show them my silk level before I was able to sign up for the class. From reading the class description, it looked like I should be in 501+. The person I was corresponding with cleared me to sign up for the 501+ class and also said that I would also learn a lot from the 401-500 class as well. I wanted to sign up for the 401 class but it was already full when I tried to sign up for it a month prior to my visit. That's the other thing about this place - the classes get booked up really quickly so make sure you reserve well in advance. We did a couple of straight arm inversions on each side as warm up. We also warmed up with these hip key/meat-hook-like climbs that I'd had never done before but they was great conditioning! I wish my classes in LA had this type of conditioning in them. There were only 4 students in the class (including me) and the other students were really good, which was very inspirational.I was running late so I took an Uber here but there seemed to be ample parking if you decide to drive here. I was mainly taking public transportation around the city since I didn't rent a car. Everyone was super friendly. I'd highly recommend this place!
