I’ve been a member at CFSV for over a year. I love this place. Immaculate vibes. Make no mistake, it’s not a luxury gym but that adds to the casual feel and welcoming community that it offers. Highly recommend if you are new to the area and looking to make friends while getting in a great workout.Coaching staff is solid across the board. Solo gym slots + a great speaker system are a big plus. The new manager has been making a lot of great improvements recently as well. Definitely worth checking out!

CF Sommerville was a great drop in and I'd recommend it for everyone visiting the area. Everyone was super friendly and fun. It's a smaller gym but it's a very cool space with two big garage door openings which make it seem bigger. Def recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

Been a member for just over 3 months, and loving it so far. It's pricier than the typical gym membership, but I see it as a good incentive to go regularly and get the most benefit. Physically, I've already noticed improvement to my strength and mobility. Getting through difficult workouts has also made me feel mentally stronger and capable of tackling challenges in other areas of life. CFSV is a friendly, supportive community and I am excited to continue my journey here!

Great spot to work out. Lots of variety in programming each week. The coaches are super friendly and helpful. It’s a pretty small community of loyal members, and it could definitely benefit from more gym goers. A welcoming place that I highly recommend.

Quite possibly one of the best gyms I have been to. Clean, well lit and ventilated. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful and the training sessions are tailored to help you grow.

Friendly staff, I wish they would check vaccines and better enforce the mask mandate but I get not wanting to cause a confrontation.

I must say it is the best gym in the city. The equipment is in perfect condition, the locker room is spotless and the staff is top-notch.

Move the weights out from behind the racks. Then no one has to stand around waiting for someone to finish their reps for no reason. A little organization would go a long way with this place.

I was in town for 2 weeks of training over in cambridge, so reached out to see if i could drop in during that period. they worked with my schedule and even came in outside of their normal schedule to judge my 19.2! Mel and the rest of the staff there are amazing!! highly recommend if you're coming to boston and need a good sweat!

Dropped in to two classes when I was in town for work, and I had a great experience. The coaches are friendly and very knowledgeable, and the community is great: welcoming and encouraging. Mel was great helping out with the drop in details and in general making me feel welcome and a part of the community. If you are in Somerville/Cambridge, I can highly recommend CrossFit Somerville.

I did a drop-in the other day and it was a wonderful experience. Stopped by the box the previous day and was warmly greeted and shown the facility. Easy drop-in enrollment online. The coach was very friendly and thorough with the warm-up and preparation for the workout. She offered me a couple of great tips that helped my form. Highly recommended and look forward to WODding there again on a future visit to the area!
