Decent dry cleaners. I've had a couple of simple alterations done like finishing trousers, but I'm not sure I'd ask them to tailor a suit.

I have used this shop a few times for alterations and they have always been quick and did a nice job. Today, I tried to drop off two pairs of pants that needed to be hemmed. When I told this to the young man at the front, he handed me a dry cleaning slip. When I told him again that I wanted them hemmed, he was completely baffled. After trying to explain this (simple) request for a few minutes, I finally asked if I could speak to the other man that worked there (an older gentleman who had always helped me before). The man I was dealing with would not ask for help. I gave up and left, pants in hand. I won’t be going back.

I brought a few pairs of pants here for hemming, and a few pairs of shorts to put the buttons back on. I also asked the lady if she could repair the seam on the crotch of one of the items I brought in. She said "No, too much work." I told her I would pay extra, but she was adamant on it being too much of a hassle. (this is a clothing repair and tailor shop, right?) I dropped off my four items and came back to pick them up a few days later. The cost was expected, $20 for the four repairs, but they seemed to be done well and should (hopefully) last. BUT, I almost didn't even get my items back because the shop owner(s) misplaced my clothing. It took about 10 minutes of them looking to find them in a bag. That was disconcerting. To top everything off, this place is cash only which is not advertised anywhere in the store.
All in all... sub-par customer service, disorganized, cash only with no notice and in an area with many other tailors, I will be bringing my business elsewhere.

Would only take sleeves up on suit coat, would not take it in..."too much work" exact quote from an "expert tailor" didn't even look at the garment....not sure if this was the owner or just someone who worked there....ended up going to Jack's on Mass Ave in Cambridge

They do a good job with our laundry and dry cleaning.
I found their alterations a bit pricy, but they also do top-notch work. Since I'd rather have it done right, I'm more than happy to pay a little extra.
