The best buffalo exchange I’ve been to - great selection, unbeatable prices, and really kind staff. I heard they are getting troll reviews that are hurting their rating - it’s a shame because this was one of my best thrifting hauls in a minute!!

I’ve had pretty poor luck on sites like Depop and Poshmark trying to get old clothes off my hands, and it was so refreshing how painless it was here! The staff was very kind and explained how the payout process works, and I walked out with 5 new pieces I absolutely adore! The store credit system is fabulous; if you have trendy clothes you want to get off your hands, this is the perfect place! I can’t wait to shop here/do business with them again.

I prefer this location to their Brookline one, but it's still fast fashion galore. Otherwise, it's neatly organized, with dressing rooms on the lower level. The employees were friendly, and I was able to sell most of the clothes I brought.

The racks are so overstuffed you can’t even look at the items. Many items are “new” which aren’t second hand at all. They’re fast fashion items sent directly to them. The customer service is awful. The selling process is terrible. They should go back to the appointment system or some kind of que. I waited in like for 45 minutes. They go through your items in front of you throwing the items around, which is so awkward and uncomfortable. They make up the prices arbitrarily. A lot of items are stained or damaged because they don’t thoroughly check each item. I much prefer the selling process at Plato’s closet. Overall horrible experience.

Oh, my goodness, I don’t think that I could possibly love this store more than I already do. I have no complaints, at all. My only regret is that I don’t live closer. This store is everything that a well - curated fashion boutique should be. The fact that it wasn’t filled with shoppers was criminal; more people need to know about this treasure trove!First of all, the staff there was so kind; not just nice, but kind with the patience of saints, I would have cracked a long time ago. Whomever was in charge of hiring, great job.Second of all, hats off to the management! They and their sales team seemed to have a very firm grip on fashion - not just fashion trends, but quality in materials and designs, along with brand histories. For example, do you have something that isn’t necessarily trendy, but very iconic or with an artistic bend? They’ll take it because they understand that it’s something special, and people will want it. Not only that, but it adds an artistic credibility to their store. The Somerville location felt more like the wardrobe at Vogue or a boutique of curated, high - quality goods, rather than an overstuffed Forever 21 (Brookline location, I’m looking at you. I love you and your staff, but please train them to be more discerning where it matters).Anyhow, I brought my designer clothes and purses here (all from iconic brands with history and credibility), and pretty much sold all of them. The only few items that were turned down, were because they weren’t in season, which was fair. I’m very happy with my experience, not only because I made decent money, but also because they were truly high - quality and in - style designs that will make their new owners very happy. And, to be honest, knowing that people will get to buy my designer goods at affordable prices, makes me feel good inside because we all deserve a nice treat every once in awhile.I was helped by a very kind employee, and I wish I had gotten their name in order to give a shoutout! They had shoulder - length blond - ish hair, and were wearing a snug - fitting, slightly cropped tank top that said “Trophy Wife” on it with a silver cross necklace. Such a friendly and helpful person, I’m sorry that I wasn’t more chatty; I was just exhausted from the drive. Lol.

I had a really good experience at this location earlier this afternoon! The person working the fitting room was really sweet and personable. They made me feel really welcomed into the store and were easy to talk to.

These place is everything! The clothes, the shoes, the people, the price! You can’t go wrong shopping here! Serena gives me life! Shine Queen! That crochet top needs to be available for purchase!

serena and kenny kept my heart afloat here. they are true beacons of humanity and good clotheos. they make me wanna come here all the time! there were some really cute clothes in the $10-20 range. and sometimes you just don’t wanna dig thru the bins or allston christmas loli was pleasantly surprised that the prices weren’t too bad, considering it’s a buffex. there was a new employee in the changing rooms that made me feel slightly uncomfortable. i’ll give them the benefit of the doubt bc it was their first day, but trans and genderqueer folks need a welcoming environment in changing rooms lol.

It’s not worth spending time going. I brought a 30 inch luggage filled with clothes there, the receiver just takes less than 5 of them symbolically. When they take it they are not naming the price that they offer. It’s really disappointing comparing to my experience of the Buffalo Exchange in Cambridge. I cashed out only $12 for the 5 clothes they take and donated most of them to the Goodwill next door
