Brooks Brothers changed ownership during Covid. The new owners have turned the store into lower quality clothes for more affordable prices. I bought three suits there recently for $300 each. They are decent quality but they don’t have a tailor in house to tailor the suit to your specific measurements. So you have to buy the suits and then take them and find a tailor to fit it for you which then adds about $100 for each suit. Anyone that knows anything about wearing decent suits is that the difference between an untailored and tailored suit is literally night and day. Now I have 3 decent suits that don’t really fit the way they should because I haven’t had the time to go to a tailor. It was nice when it was a one stop shop, buy the suit and have it tailored. Also, my old brooks brothers suits are 100% wool. They don’t have 100% wool suits anymore since changing ownership. They are mixed fabrics now, wool and polyester. Brooks Brothers has become a very mediocre place at this point.

A plethora selection of suits around my size- 38S. Mind you, yours will vary. Store was clean and well lit. Kudos to both people (I'm spacing out on their names as I write this review) for assisting me from start to finish. Got a fantastic deal on a navy 1818 suit and bowtie. Both made in USA !

While in this store last week, my sister and I literally witnessed a man blatantly stuffing items into a giant suitcase. When he saw that I had noticed he started yelling "don't snitch, don't snitch, you better not snitch!" as well as some other things. Well at this point he's basically snitched on himself and now the one employee in the store is also obviously staring at him too. Though I think she already knew what he was doing even before I did but couldn't do anything about it. This man finishes up taking whatever he wants and leaves. At that point I'm over being harassed and leave the store too without buying the item my husband wanted. They really need to have a security guard at the door or give their employees the ability to take some kind of action when they observe blatant shoplifting like we did. I have been racially profiled in the past and this was not one of those instances where this man was being racially profiled. This was bold and blatant shoplifting and harassment. Hopefully Brooks Brothers reads their reviews and does something about protecting their employees and customers from being harassed.

Last week, I visited brooks brothers in the Northshore mall in Peabody, Ma on Saturday of December 3, 2022, and was greeted by a racist employee. I came in the store to pick an item that I had ordered online. I asked the employee behind counter if I could go into the fitting room so I could make sure it was the correct size I was looking for. She said yes and I proceeded to go into the fitting room. As I tried on the item, I heard the employee call my name and asked if everything was fine. This shocked me because as an employee you’re suppose to leave a customer at his or hers own comfort during the process of trying something out, especially in the fitting room. As I left the fitting room, I went to check some of the other items that I was interested in. While doing this I had my bag in my hand that contained the item I had ordered online and some other personal items. As I was looking around for more items to buy the employee came and asked me if she could place my bag behind the counter. I took immediate offence to this. As an African American she thought that I would steal some items within the store. She acted very unprofessional and racist towards me in these events and I will never ever come back and deal with this kind of racism.

Great selection and well maintained. I just purchased a tuxedo from Jerry. He was the best; extremely attentive and knowledgeable. I walked away with a great Tuxedo at a great price. I will definitely be back in the future

When u buy a something from them online and doesn’t like it for a reason. They ask you to pay for return shipping. They’re so Greedy . My advice to buy from them online

I went in here today around 2pm with my husband and when we walked in, we were not greeted. This is not the first time employee did not greet us. Not a huge deal, when my husband saw the employee on the floor, he asked where he could find hats. Rather than tell or show us where they were, he said "well first off, hi, how are you?" attempting to chastise my husband about not greeting him. I don't know if he understands how ridiculously rude and unprofessional he is. It is his responsibility to greet and speak to customers as we walk in. Had he done that, there would be no need for him to feel any type of way. We immediately left and came right back to let him know that he didn't provide good customer service and that is was rude for him to say that to us. Rather than him try to salvage this, he blamed us for not speaking to him, blew us off and condescendingly said "have a good day." We are not employed at Brooks Brothers, he is!!! The nerve!!
