Shane is perhaps the best broker in Boston and his senior businesss partner Craig is absolutely top notch as a rental manager. When I came back from LA in 2008 I interviewed over twenty realtors before locking in with Shane and I have done all my residential and investment business with him. His ethics are beyond reproach and he is the only realtor I know who is willing to lose a deal as a result of protecting his clients from bad operrators(and their shady dealings) --and there are MANY in these markets. Regarding his competance he is second to none and having an experienced becomes incredibly important when problems emerge as they so often do. Serious problems and badly tainted deals can be life-ruining and many inexperienced brokers are not capable of handling tricky problems. In terms of renovation, repair and construction the advantages of Shane shine bightly. It's incredibly hard to find great contractors and it's crazy how badly a single contractor can jack you up. Being connected with Shane is a great advantage in this regard and he has terrific relations with the best and most honest contractors in this area. I tell my friends they are crazy if they do not work with Shane and I also beg them to follow his advice at all times cause his advice is generall spot on.

We worked with Craig Espinola in renting our apartment - we could not have had a better experience! He was incredibly responsive throughout the process (even after we had signed our lease!), and he had a lot of knowledge about the area where we were looking to rent. Highly recommend working with him at Benoit Real Estate Group!

As a property owner with many properties, I started using Craig Espinoza during COVID when I couldn't give my rentals away. Craig has increased my rents substantially and brought me better applicants and tenants than other firms. I refer him to my friends. He is the best real estate person I've used, so give him a try. You'll be very pleased.Thank you Craig.

We rented with Benoit with Craig Scanzio as the property manager. We really highly recommend working with him. Craig was very responsive when we needed anything taken care of in the apartment. When we unexpectedly needed to move out of state, Craig was fantastic to work with and made sure that the apartment got filled quickly. The couple times something needed repaired, Craig brought someone in very quickly or helped himself. He also was very careful about COVID precautions. He's just so great and supportive!

I am a tenant in an apartment that is managed by Benoit. Criag has been our property manager for the last 5 years. He's so helpful! We can always reach him by text/ phone any time. He always has a solution and is very attentive!

I called the general Benoit number after receiving an unsolicited text message from a realtor looking to show my apartment. We had requested that our personal information not be shared with real estate agents and for our property manager to handle communications regarding rental for 9/1 as we are not renewing, but still received a text to both my husband and my cell phone asking to show the unit, with less that 48 hours noticed (required by the city of Somerville). We never consented to playing rental agent on behalf of our property management company and never consented to provide our personal information to offices around town. I called Benoit after receiving the text message asking for our phone numbers to be removed from their records. The person who answered the phone who claimed to the the owner was rude and berated me on the phone, yelling that I did not understand how the rental business worked, after requesting that our personal information be deleted. When I pushed back and asked again, he continued to bark into the phone. Completely unprofessional, unhelpful, and wildly disrespectful of a tenant of 6 years in their current apartment. Would not at all recommend doing business with this organization, they clearly care only about money and don't have any semblance of professionalism, respect, or human decency.

Jennifer was very helpful in our search and was quick to respond to the initial inquiry, which is pretty critical in the Boston rental market. She was flexible with her schedule and met us on a short timeline and ran us through all the necessary paperwork quickly, but was never pushy. We ultimately didn't go with the property she was representing, but would work with her in the future.

It has been my pleasure working with Arielle at Benoit Realty. She has met my needs in clear communication, prompt responses and an upbeat personality. I had the pleasure of meeting another realtor at the office, who was also very upbeat. I recommend Benoit Realty in Somerville. Be prepared for parking meters although they are conveniently located right outside Davis Square T stop on the red line.

We have worked with Shane over the past 6 years to buy a condo, sell that condo, and buy a house. If we ever have real estate needs in the future we will work with Shane again.For our home purchases, Shane helped us navigate the extreme sellers market in this area and helped us realize that you can still buy a home without offering more than asking price and waiving all contingencies...every situation is different and we were successful at getting the home we wanted in two very different ones. He was frank about the pluses and minuses of homes. His knowledge of the local market and of homes and building materials is excellent and clearly based on decades of experience living and working in this area. He found local lenders that beat the prices and rates of what I found on my own online.For our sale, Shane made sure our property attracted the maximal amount of interest and helped us evaluate all aspects of the offers we received and make a wise decision.

Where could I start about this , in May we saw a listing that they had and got in touch to rent an apt .The apt was 1900 and there was a full fee and the thought process is that if you are paying a fee the agent will look to give you all the info and make sure that the process goes smoothly and at least respectable.Nowhere close to that after signing the lease other things came up (oil bill etc) , when confronted about this at first Will D’Silva sad that probably my wife did not understand goes as far as that she is lying and that he told her all of the info.After that he sad that the landlord is giving him half info etcA sack of lies , totally if not for the immediate need for a place I would of walked away .But wait when we thought that was behind us , the time to leave came so that the apt had to be rented again and the “amazing “ quality of these real estates agents was again on full display.“Hi Claudiu, I have a showing request for tomorrow at 12 noon and I will be stopping by the apartment.”Now to this our request was that we need them to come in after 5 pm and all because we had a sick pet and also because we wanted to be at home period.His reply was don’t worry I have a hey, now if this would be it I would be able to leave with it but this just started a trail of absolutely ridiculous behavior.We got home one day to have to find another employee of Benoit in our apt by himself and confronted about this he just casually replied that these are the rules and that he can just do what he wants , people sent on a Sunday after I told them that I am having people over to see the apt .Keep in mind before using them all of this first and for most they can’t be trusted and even if you pay a fee they will never look after your best interest.At no place in time during these interactions a sense of any accountability for what happened was ever shown by these so called professionals.Only the landlord apologized for there actions, which is funny because he had nothing to do with itWill and Joseph are absolutely the worst people that I had to deal with , total liars and who knows how many times they went in the apt without our permission, just once I saw it but in reality who knows.I would not only not recommend them I would go as far as asking anyone to STAY AWAYThey can’t and should not be trusted.I know that a company is not responsible for individuals actions but Will and Joseph do represent this real estate company and they are not honest people
