I've worked with Deb in the Southboro location for custom french doors for my home and have had nothing but positives. She's super knowledgeable about he products and options, worked through a complicated situation where me as the recipient, and a family member of mine as the installer were both in touch with her regarding different aspects of the job. She was communicative, organized, and delivered on what she said. We had a defect on one of the doors, and she resolved that issue for us as well without any problems. I learned about Horner when I worked for a local remodeling company and found them to be reputable and high quality, and now as a residential customer, I've had the same experience.

We at ESHI Builders love working with the Horner Team in several departments. I, Heidi, give a special shout out to Mike Sollecito and his team in the cabinetry department. Mike pays attention to detail and is a great communicator. What he designs, we install for our clients; and they are always thrilled. Here are a few kitchens we've done recently.

I worked here for about six months I literally enjoyed my job every day I picked up hours coming in every Saturday I was harassed by the plant manager a Caucasian male I felt like he was targeting me and singling me out waving me down and whistling at me like a dog I am a Hispanic and he never did it to my coworker who is also Caucasian when I went to human resources about this they brushed it off pretty much so I decided to put in my two week notice because I didn’t wanna work in a hazardous environment a week into my two weeks notice the plant manager decided to fire me Jim Monaghan same person I had the problem with….I wasn’t calling out! I was coming to work! I don’t understand why ..?The pay was not the best If you’re looking for long-term career to expand based on your work ethic and knowledge this is not the place ….for Who you know and who likes you entitles position and pay

Be Careful ordering from here. Ordered custom doors and windows, told by salesperson Peter they are a preferred distributor and could get the order in in 3 months. After giving a $60,000 deposit and waitinga week or two for confirmation I was told November. After reminding the salesperson about being a prefered distributor and waiting another week it was moved up 2 weeks to the end of October. Bait and switch, definetly not what was discussed ever, a 7 month wait. Shame on them, BE CAUTIOUS!!!
The Sales Person felt my timeline was way off. Below is his correction:
Below is a timeline of events:
· Received the lead to call Frank on 2/3.
· On 2/5 Frank and I spoke.
· On 2/7 I received an email with a rough opening schedule and was told to quote windows non impact but it needed to be a DP 50.
· 2/18 I was told the job needs to be impact and you want the Lift and Slides to slide all the way both ways.
· 2/18 – 3/2 I worked with Kolbe Engineering to get this to work along with sending approvals to the Town Building Inspector.
· 3/3 I followed up to see if we were ready to place the order.
· 3/11 I followed up to see if we were ready to place the order.
· 3/18 I followed up to see if we were ready to place the order.
· 3/21 I followed up to see if we were ready to place the order.
· 3/29 I followed up to see if we were ready to place the order. At that time you responded back telling me you though the numbers were more than what was budgeted for. I then recreated the proposal with Fiberglass windows and those 2 Lift and Slide doors.
· 4/07 We were told that Frank said to move forward with the Fiberglass window proposal
· 4/11 We received the $60,000 deposit and we placed the order.
· Kolbe promptly came back for us to review the shop drawings which we did not get approved until 4/21. (This is 11 weeks from the initial contact)
· At that time Kolbe came back to us with a delivery date of 11/7.
· We reached back out to Kolbe and they were able to improve the date to the week of 10/20. (3 weeks better).
So I apologize if I misled anyone, but even if you give them the 2wks from taking the deposit until the order was accepted the delivery date is double the 3 month time frame I was given

I've used Horner for two jobs on my house and they messed up both of them. They order wrong parts and make mistakes on measurements. I will never use them again.

Worst experience ever... ordered a very expensive front door promised in april... no word on when it will come or what the hold up was... Had to call and email multiple times with no avail. When reaching out to our sales rep James Smith he never responds to emails or phone calls. Had to call the sales manager for any response and he also doesnt seem to know whats going on- telling us that they may not be able to do a standard stain on a wood door and on and on... so disorganized and absolutely no customer service. Weve signed off on this door in January and still have no firm time frame- absolutely do not take any business to this place.

As a contractor, I went to Horner with high expectations because of who they supposedly are and even opened an account there. What I came to find out quickly is that they have unreliable, unresponsive and extremely shady sales reps. DO NOT send your clients there, you'll probably regret it. ???

Working with Rebecca was one of the best experiences of our entire renovation. She is not only professional and knowledgeable but patient! The technology made it easy to come up with an idea and have Rebecca transform that idea immediately to the big screen. We would definitely use Horner again, just to work with Rebecca.

We live in a 1925 house and recently did a complete remodel of our kitchen and worked with Rebecca on designing the cabinet layout. It was such a pleasure to work with her! We met with Rebecca many times throughout the process as there were so many choices to be made. We specifically requested glass pull-up cabinets to display my husband’s antique collection and she recommended StarMark Cabinetry. The cabinets were exactly what we were looking for and all cabinets were customizable to deal with the unevenness that comes with remodeling older homes. She also offered valuable suggestions along the way for things we had not thought of. Whenever we asked for her opinion she was always very honest and straightforward which we appreciated. She truly cares about all of her customers. For us the kitchen is one of the most important rooms in the house and we could not be happier with the end result! Our kitchen looks stunning!
