St. Anne's is now CLOSED ? So sad...this was my happy place and weekly I looked forward to checking out their neat home decor and new designer clothing at prices I could afford. St. Anne's allowed me to furnish my home over the years. Not sure what happened to cause the closing but this is really sad for me and I'm sure the committedvolunteers are feeling a loss as well. The therapeutic benefit St. Anne's had on my mental health will be missed greatly. Thank you St. Anne's and to the dedicated staff for all the years of awesomeness!

The prices were OUTRAGEOUSLY high. They are the highest I've EVER seen in or around Worcester. It's disturbing to see a church charge so much for donations. I needed blankets for my kids' beds but couldn't afford it. Also the staff was a touch rude. I won't be back.

I was not there for 5 minutes when one of old women volunteering was INCREDIBLY RUDE to me as well as other people browsing. Her hlanger and hate made it a very very ugly experience and very very ugly memory and I will never go in there again.

So, I have had a few experiences here. Although St. Anne's has good intentions to serve those in need, and is a great place in a great location, they go about it all wrong. Places like TJ Maxx, as well as individuals donate clothes, shoes, household items, amongst various other items to St. Anne's, through which the workers sort through and decide whether or not they will sell the item and decide the price. THe items they do not deem worthy are thrown away... even if they are perfectly good. They should be re-donated. Though companies and individuals give these items to St. Anne's for free, they often charge ridiculous prices for them. Their jewelry is more expensive than it would sell for in a store like TJ Maxx, and clothing and shoe prices are also exorbitant. Their blankets and pillows and home goods are also far too expensive. One piece of pottery is usually over $20. A fleece throw is usually $25. One throw pillow is $10 or more. Pillow cases can also be super expensive, also up to $10. If something is marked with two prices, they always take the higher price. The same things sit in the store week to week because they are too expensive and not worth the price put on them. It is ridiculous. St. Anne's is supposed to help those in need, who may not be able to afford new things from a store like TJ Maxx, yet St. Anne's is charging the same prices, if not higher prices. It cheats people out of their money. Some St. Anne's workers are also rather unpleasant. They treat customers who cannot speak English well with disrespect and are not helpful to them. They have thrown some out of the store for being "too noisy" or because they already bought some things. It is sad how these women who attend mass and pretend to be Catholic are instead driven by greed, selfishness, and a desire for profit. You'd expect better, but they are proof that we are living in a broken world. They constantly brag about their expensive vacations, which is just rude to do in front of people who cannot afford groceries or school supplies for their children. I am just disgusted and broken hearted about this situation here. I am not saying this place isn't good, but it needs some reforming if they truly want to help people in the community. Sending lots of prayers their way.
