Today was my first visit to shrewsbury lumber - at the recommendation of my contractor. I thought this store only catered to commercial accounts. I received personalized service from Rick D. and Justin locating and cutting casing trim made out of real wood which the box store didn’t have in stock. Stop by and patronize our local lumber yard.

I wonder how do some people received a 5 star experience here. HUGE wast of my time. And exactly like some of the reviewers say; They don’t even get up to talk to you and when they do, it’s sideways with the body language intention of telling you that they have something better to do then talk you or try to help you with why you went there the first place.If you’re looking for Pvc trim and good service don’t go there bc you’ll be disappointed.Hell at leas I was.

If you've got a job going in the area and need a couple things they act like you're wasting their time, while wasting your time. I had to repeat my order 3 times to a woman hiding behind the computer screen. I watched her write my order on a sheet of paper the first time. Ended up going to Home Depot where they're less inept.

From customer service, to price, to quality of materials, Shrewsbury Lumber is amazing! Last summer, I worked with Rick to order cedar and pressure treated wood for a deck project. Materials have been hard to come by these days, but Rick was able to get everything I needed within a week. The materials were of excellent quality, and the price for clear cedar (c and better) was unbeatable. At other area lumber yards, I was quoted nearly twice the price per linear foot for STK grade cedar and told I wouldn't be able to get clear cedar until October (this was June).Rick went above and beyond, when I had a hiccup in the project. I realized too late that the builder had framed a 16 x 14 deck rather than the 16 x 12 I had planned for, but the builder was able to use every piece of cedar, including my overage because the quality of each piece was so good. Even so, I needed a single piece of decking to complete the project. Rick was able to get it for me with in a day or two. I can't say enough good things about my experience with Shrewsbury Lumber and enthusiastically recommend them! Many thanks to Rick and the team.

Rick at Shrewsbury Lumber was great to deal with and I highly recommend working with him. Shrewsbury Lumber had everything I needed and they delivered all the materials in a timely fashion. There were a couple occasions I needed material quick and they were very responsive. They are more than just a lumber yard so check their pricing for drywall projects as well.

Shrewsbury Lumber upvote. Rick was great - helped me choose the right product for a backyard project and made sure I was happy with the purchase. Wore a mask and took care of the payment from the parking lot, so I didn't have to go indoors, then brought me a receipt. Btw, Rick - the Siberian Larch was perfect for our project - really looks great! Thanks again.

Rick at Shrewsbury Lumber helped us with a large renovation project on our house over the course of many months. His prices were nearly always the lowest (I price-checked much of what we bought), and he provided exceptional service, always going the extra mile for us. I highly recommend giving them a call if you're planning a house project. Just to name a few of the things we bought through Rick: hardwood flooring, crown molding and baseboard, doorknobs, lumber for framing an addition, and shingles for both siding and the roof.
