Quest on Julio Drive in Shrewsbury was great !! Easy to make appointment online. Easy to sign in at arrival. Staff was friendly and efficient. Waiting area and lab area very clean.

Unable to draw my blood because the lab was out of butterfly needles. Told I would receive a call when they came in. Never received the call and it’s too late to draw the blood ordered as timing was of the essence! Unable to contact other quest labs in the area to see if they had a butterfly but u”not anyone answering the phones.(Butterflies are used on a daily basis in phlebotomy). Are we supposed to drive around to multiple quest sites looking for a basic piece of equipment?
Also-Tech attempted to charge me 45.00 to drop off a sample and 17.00 the prior day. I explained had met my deductible, but the technicians do not have access to this information. If you don’t pay, you don’t get your blood drawn. I had to call BCBS because I met my deductible 8 months ago!
BCBS called their contact at quest to reiterate what I told the technician. Your billing system is not only incorrect, it’s unethical! How can they attempt to collect money when they can’t see what’s already been paid??? I met an elderly woman in a quest lab who was crying because she didn’t have 35.00 and could not have her blood drawn as a result. She was in her 80s, had open heart surgery with multiple complications. She needed an INR drawn because she was on blood thinners. You couldn’t have billed her and gave her a chance to recoup financialIy? No one helped her-I’m sure there is assistance available, but your Kiosk does not offer the option. I gave her the money because she is a human being in need of help.
Next complaint! Trying to change my password for hours-receive message saying a code will be sent to my email address. When code entered, error messages received-over and over again!
There’s no one available to help because I’m sure you’ve cut back on IT Staff-l BOTS don’t answer questions or replace humans!

love the place. Just trying to book on line seems impossible! I have walked in several times and had the DRs ordered test done. but 26 Julio drive has no way to pick a date or time, nonmatter what date I pick!

Technology will never replace a human being... Frustrating experience... check in kiosk not operating, waiting room fI'll, only one technician to draw blood,... Inexcusable.technician working as fast as she can, the fault is not with her

I had to get blood work biweekly for several months. Staff were very pleasant and professional. I always made appointment which was much more efficient and prompt than just showing up.

Small lab connected to the medical offices on the second floor, only one technician on shift at a time: Even with the Kiosk being down i was in and out in under 10 minutes. Technician was very relatable and professional considering the lab is quite literally being held together by duck tape (but hey, at least it wad unicorn duck tape)!

They tell you what the price is then what insurance will bill then ask for your credit card. What they told me they charged was 20% higher than what my insurance told me three weeks later I owed. Called the office, selected the billing option and was transferred to two automated services trying to sell me a medical alert system and roadside service. Then I was told to hang up. Called back and selected the physician's office option and was able to get another phone number. Called that and spent 25 minutes on hold. The woman who answered was completely unaware that the lab had taken my credit card, told me that there was nothing in their system showing that I had paid anything and speculated that it was a pre-authorization. She also mentioned dates which had nothing to do with my actual appointment. My husband was present for these calls and told me it sounded like an SNL skit. These people are disasters. I will never give them payment at the time of service again. You can bill me.

Even without an appointment I was in and out in under 5 minutes and the staff was exceptionally professional and polite. I had a great experience!

Avoid this lab at all costs. Every month there has been a billing issue, unhelpful staff and generally pain in the neck each time! Or should I say a pain in the arm...
