Patel Bros. markets are among the best stocked Indian food shopping venues in the region. The Shrewsbury location is excellent for its comprehensive offering of different varieties of rice, fresh vegetables, canned and dry goods, spices, nuts, refrigerated items (yogurt, Indian cheese, other dairy, etc.) and frozen foods. Have been shopping here for over a decade. Ample parking (lot off of Rt. 9) and more limited parking directly in front of the store.

The staff here was rude. I had a few ladies working here giving condescending looks when asked about products. Don't recommend this place anymore.

Fresh vegetables and abundant staples and lots of snack foods will satisfy your cravings for Indian food. Prices are moderate, but this is a specialty store. You can find great deals. Need a 1/2 gallon of yogurt or 2 cups of basil? Shop here!

I came in and they ignored me. Didn't ask if I needed help or anything. Then, one Indian guy even cut in front of me in line and they helped him so I left.

If you parked in front of the shop and want to travel to Worcester side, then exit is difficult. Need to take long detour.

The best shop for Indian grocery shopping. The best part is the selection of vegetables at competitive prices. The staff are good, and the store is in a prime location. I believe there is parking available behind the shop as well. Overall, a very good experience.

We always loved Patel Brothers in Chicago area, their prices were good and always had weekly sales. After moving to Mass we are buying from Shrewsbury Patel, it is nowhere close to other Patel branches, store is very small, everything is highly priced, hardly any sales. Also need to watch carefully while billing, they bill one item for another and charge high. It happened to us couple of times. we no longer wish to visit this place, There are other better Indian stores around. And we really miss chicago Patel Brothers.

This store sold me a cat photograph in orange with a different appearance, Bournvita. Initially, it seemed like authentic Mondelez Bournvita. Regrettably, it turned out to be a counterfeit. After ingesting this imitation Bournvita, I suffered from severe acidity, followed by and vomiting. It's concerning that such reputable stores would deceive customers with inferior and possibly dangerous products. Their choice to endorse adulterated items at the expense of customer health is truly disheartening. These products must be discarded to prevent harm to other patrons.
