After spending thousands of dollars here over a couple of years, they sold me something that had been refurbished and enhanced without telling me. When I discovered the issues and had photographic proof and asked them about it they told me I should have known and acted like it was my fault they were dishonest. No apology, offering a refund did not make up for the breach of trust. If you shop here buyer beware

Linda Rosen Antiques carries a sizable inventory of 18th and early 19th American furniture and accessories (Queen Anne, Chippendale, Federal and Shaker, together with Windsor and Hitchcock Co. style chairs) which are more at home in a home than in a museum, which matches my tastes precisely. Linda and Allen are willing and able to answer all questions and are fastidious in noting any marks, repairs or replacements. They do not "oversell" and are circumspect in what they say about the provenance of any piece. These qualities, together with their commitment to service engender a trust that makes the seeking and acquiring of antique furniture a pleasant experience indeed.
