I have been going to Wexler's from the moment I started in the coin hobby since I was 17. The very best.

Great coin shop. Fair prices, the guy is quite knowledgeable and good for a small discussion while shopping. Don't get why people are saying he's rude (apart from him getting upset if you insult his dogs, but what are you gonna do, it's his business) I personally find his dogs enjoyable to scratch and pet while looking at coins. Out of all the coin stores I've been to, he's the best stocked one too. Pretty much one of my favorites. Would give it 6 stars if I could, but it got covered up by the cigar smoke

Don't waste your time going here. The guy there is more interested in sitting on his a** at the computer than wanting to sell you anything. They advertised they had comics, had about 10, beat up worthless comics. Guy was rude, and his silver coin prices are way to high, rip off prices. He also was smoking a stinky cigar that you could smell in the entire room. Also, he is rude with his dogs. He has a sign to not let his dogs out. Put your dogs on a leash or put them in another room you lazy man. It was like I was bothering him with questions. Wexlers 113 taunton avenue, seekonk. How is he still in business. One more thing to the lazy, cigar smoking a** in that business, I had 300 dollars I was burning to blow, now I will go somewhere else. Would give -1 star if I could. If I waste my time with a negative review, you should heed my review, I am a patient guy, but this was a superior negative experience.

Wexler's hasn't changed since I first visited 20+ years ago (no, seriously, I thought I had time traveled). It's fine if you're looking to unload your coins as I made a king's ransom of $3.60 for some old wheat pennies, but be prepared to be blasted by cigar smoke and dogs when you open the door. On the day I went the store was cloudy with fresh cigar smoke and his two dogs blasted me at the door! They're friendly dogs, but if you're not a dog (or a cigar) person you won't like the experience.

Grandmother had passed and left behind a coin collection. They were very straight forward with us and overall we had a very positive experience. We would go back there.
