I was doing a complicated return, and also purchased some things, and I was happily accommodated by Jo-Ann. She was extremely patient, understanding, and overall had a very calm but joyful demeanor unlike most of the employees at this establishment. She’s a keeper!

Came into ulta in seekonk to get my eyebrows waxed Kailey did an amazing job! My mother also came in and got her eyebrows tinted made such a difference and Kailey did a fantastic job on her brows as well. Will definitely be back.

I love this Ulta but today I went and it literally smelled so strongly of cologne I left with a huge headache like seriously it's one thing to have your store smell nice with one or two sprays of something but this was the most absurd suffocating scent in the world I literally felt like I was in a Hollister in 2012 idk how these employees deal with working w that smell it was actually godawful I'm literally going to go to a different location now bc of how ridiculous that was. The bag of stuff I got also literally REEKS of this smell it actually is disgusting and smells like they sprayed inside the bag or something even I genuinely cannot get over how strong it is wtf y'all doing

I have never written a review before in my LIFE… until I went to this Ulta! Last week I decided I would go to this store to splurge on overpriced hair and makeup products… hundreds of dollars worth… and the workers were goofing off. One even got into my personal space and didn’t even apologize. Very rude! I was NOT pleased! I thought about speaking to a manager but I decided not to. I figured they were probably one of these goof balls. Honestly the workers there are terrible and if I were their manager half of them would be GONE. They don’t take their job as seriously as the girls at Sephora. Sephora is very professional! I know labor is expensive right now but is it really that hard to find good employees? The manger at this location probably encourages this buffoonery. If anyone is the managers boss I would fire and hire a new manager immediately! Someone that is there to actually manage and run a successful business. I don’t think I’ll ever set foot in this establishment as long as I live. From now on I’ll be next door at the Kohls Sephora the next time I decide to buy some overpriced lipgloss to soothe my dying soul.

Kailey at the Seekonk location did my brows (tint, shape) for the first time today. She was patient and listened to my concerns and gave me exactly what I asked for. I rebooked my next appointment with her already and definitely recommend her!

The manager of the store was negative nasty non-compliant and still wanted me to leave the store with my return with a product that has been listed online as burning your scalp then talk terrible about the Seekonk store which was the only one that helped me and was honest and got me the right product I am absolutely horrified by this store he treated me like I did not matter and was very inconsiderate of my needs it's not like I'm paying $1.99 I'm paying $40 for conditioner alone for a 13 Oz conditioner

Not sure if it was their manager or just one of their staff but the dark haired pale women in her late mid 30’s followed me,(probably their manager) an Asian woman around the whole store watching me like a hawk. Did not greet me once or ask if I needed any help but was every corner I turned. But as we walked by other (white)customers, she was happy to offer them help and greet them. Disgusting. I really try hard to ignore behavior like that but it’s hard to want to give my money to an establishment that treats people of color that way

Usually there is only one register open and staff and manager never seem to be aware of promotions or coupons and their exclusions. Product knowledge is minimal. And as an esthetician I’ve heard some pretty unsafe skin care advice given by sales associates to customers on more than one occasion. It’s worth it to drive to the Middletown store for an overall better experience.

I'm going to give it a three The reason for that I never had a good experience up until today. I just came out of the location in Seekonk. Met a associate there her name is Skyler She went above and beyond anybody that I have ever met.. Took her time to explain everything to me. guided me through picking out my products. Her personality alone is is incredible incredible I'm so glad I met finally finally a competent employee at this location. This girl needs to be recognized in some fashion from district management, Managerment and adove.above.. I asked her why she was not a manager she said that she doesn't have enough time that she takes care of children she's compassionate if it wasn't for her I would have never came back yet the only reason why I came back today was to return something and I swa and vowed I'd never return to this location because of the customer service I have received in the past. just look on Google review reviews. You should utilize Skyler to teach all the employees how to be friendly courteous and helpful she is the biggest asset to your company.

Needs knowledgeable employees. horrible at Recommending product, horrible customer service. No one EVER greets you!!!! Seems no one is ever around to help. And once you find someone they RUSH you. Almost dying to get rid of you. They LOVE to hang in that back room I've noticed. They don't carry make up forever, they don't carry Charlotte tilbery. Do yourself a favor and go next door to Sephora it's inside Kohl's those girls know a thing or 2 about customer service, makeup artisty, product details. And they don't go in the back room and hang out all the time. And every time you ask for a sample they're more than happy to give it to you.. not Ulta they act like you asked for there House or something.. you get the drift.. To much hanging out with each other. Your there to do your JOB!!

Today, March 14th, 2022 there was this young pale girl (Not wearing Ulta uniform, may be the manager) with heavy makeup on and dark long hair with ponytail who were very rude, disrespectful and unprofessional. One day I was there looking for something and someone screamed nearby asking another employee if somebody is stealing, the other employee was like what no why!!!, I turned around. and it was this girl that I found unprofessional. Today when I was waitingto pay, there were 3 girls at the register , I was looking at my phone and I heard someone saying my makeup is melting today I turned my head and it was the same girl again and yes I was sweating, because it was too hot inside. So please for people who's gonna respond to my review just ask her to say something nice or to shut up because she looks like she's a jealous, a hater, racist, and a disrespectful person. She keeps talking behind the costumers back saying bad things on purpose and while there are listening for no reason. I think she needs help she is not normal, or she may need to change her career.

By far the worst customer service experience! I entered the store which was pretty empty (you would think that someone would be happy to help), there were about 5 sale reps around some wheel thing for customers to spin. Not a single one of them greeted me when I walked as they were too busy talking amongst themselves, nor was I asked to participate in the event they were hosting. I walked around the store looking for a particular brand of makeup. Not a single soul asked me if I needed help. When I finally couldn't find what I was looking for I asked the sales rep who was redoing the shelves for help, her name was Ally. She was very nice and pointed me in the right direction and even answered my questions. Meanwhile the other 5 reps who were doing ABSOLUTELY nothing just stood in the front! Unbelievable. The one person (aside from the cashier) who was working was the person who actually helped me. Yall have to do BETTER here!

I've been to this Ulta since they opened, it's nice that it's typically quiet. It is really well stocked. When I need help and ask for it the associates are really on top of things. I had gone in about a year ago looking for a new retinol product. The gentleman who helped me even Googled for me to figure out information on a product that wasn't on the label/box, it was great the extent of help he was giving me. Another associate even chimed in and was helping me find a good product at a good price. She was also amazing with her knowledge on the products we were all discussing. I went here throughout and have gotten the same treatment each time I've asked for help. When they see me they have greeted me often, but I'm grateful they don't seek me out sort of thing. I like to shop in peace and have social anxiety so I'm much happier seeking someone if I need help rather than have someone chasing me around. I've been to other beauty stores and they're quite like having a shadow follow you around sometimes, it's very uncomfortable. To each their own in that though! If I need help I ask, they provide the help well here and at least in my experience go above and beyond. I recently had an appointment with Amanda for my eyebrows and it was truly a great experience. I have no idea what I'm doing so I let her pick what to do with their shape. I got a wax and tint that day. They came out gorgeous!! Eyebrows really do change your face, and it was a much needed change. It had been a year since I had gotten them done. I'm so happy and I immediately booked my next appointment with her right then and there. It's definitely worth it. She listened to me blab on and on, yah know when you're nervous so you just don't shut up? Yeah that was me hahahahahaha! She was so kind though, and we had a very good talk which helped lift my spirits quite a bit and made it much more comfortable. She knows her brows!! Overall this is a great place to go, it's well stocked, well lit, good brow bar services, the people who work there are kind and helpful, and it's always clean. I've overheard some associates having personal conversations, but been there done that so I just go about my business and happily shop when I'm able to in there.
