I had a great experience at Pride Hyundai Seekonk. Both Scott, the salesperson, and Natalie, the manager, were very attentive to my questions and made the process smooth. I enjoyed working with them, and overall, my experience was very positive. Thank you!

I had a problem with the door handle cap that kept falling off and eventually broke into 3 pieces. The service tech told me that the cover wasn't properly reinstalled that's why it kept falling. He said it was either me that did it or the AAA tech.
The problem is that this Pride Hyundai service tech does not know that I leased a used car. I call it a used car because someone else drove and used it. They might want to call it a new lease but it's not. It already had quite a few miles on it.
The day I leased the car the battery wouldn't start in order for me to take the car on a test drive. The sales rep proceeded to show me if something was to happen with the battery or for some reason the fob did not work, and I needed to get in the car I could put the fob to the door and that would open the door.
The second option was to use the key that comes with the fob. He could not show me how to use the key that came with the fob because he couldn't remove the door handle cap.
Eventually before I left the car dealer they had no choice but to replace the battery.
Is it a manufacturing defect? I really do not know all I know is that the sales rep couldn't remove the door handle cap to show me how to use the key.

Purchased a new 2024 Hyundai Elantra about a month ago. Overall, the experience was good.
A couple of comments: the communication via telephone with the answering receptionist was poor. I called twice and requested to speak with my sales person. Each time I was put on hold for approximately 5 minutes without anyone coming back on line. Finally hung up. In addition, I called a third time and left a message for the sales person. He said he never received the message.
The sales person’s administrative skills were fair as it relates to asking questions when filling out required forms. Our trade in registration had both my and my wife’s names. We requested the same for the new vehicle registration. For some reason he filled out the registration in my name only.
Be prepared with your dealer research prior to purchasing a car.

Service used to be best around. Guy behind service counter us a scammer every time tries to add new and more expensive labor opp codes and not use parts kits like sopposed to. They charge 92 for the same non syn oil change every other hyundai charges 64.99 for but here the kicker only when this 1 person works any other person behind counter doesn't screw with labor codes and uses what he should.
AL Anjos used to care and enforce a competitive pricing when he was around tried to contact Lisa and was given run around as well with the service manager cody.
When calling hyundai they have received many many of similar complaints About this dealer cody and the service writer. and are offering 2 free services at any other dealer on their dime for this inconvenience but that's not the point. Encouraging non honest practice is what loses you your customer base.
Never should a non syn 3.7 qt oil chnage be 92 when my N full syn isn't this cost dealership just lost a 10 year customer from both the sales and service side due to poor customer service in this matter. The only person helpful was the receptionist.

Absolutely the worst dealership I’ve dealt with! The MANAGER is absolutely rude and incompetent and inconsiderate. Natalie- she will not admit her mistake even once. She assured us she had the car last Friday, despite us making sure it was the exact car and features we wanted. I am heavily pregnant in my last trimester and drove 1 hour there one way to buy the car. Turns out to be the wrong car. Natalie was not there that Friday, Maggie apologised and assured us they will get the car we want by Tuesday for the exact same price. We again took time off from work, drove 1.5 hours to buy the car today. They assured us they have the right car this time. When we show up, Natalie just pulls up, extremely rude to begin with, and tells us that the new car they ‘ordered for us’ is more expensive than the car we saw on Friday. And they cannot give it to us for the same cost. Why they could not provide us this information over the phone I have no idea! Naturally upset about this situation, we tried to explain our concerns and situation to her, and how we had to come to this dealership twice due to their mistake. She denied everything, interrupted us, yelled at us and was the most horrifically rude sales person ever. We walked out. DON’T GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP! I’d rather pay 5k extra for a car from people who have basic humanity and decency. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING NATALIE! SHAME ON YOU!

My most recent experience with Pride Hyundai was extremely disheartening. I had brought my vehicle in (2012 Hyundai Tuscon) in March of 2024 and it was diagnosed with a faulty crankshaft positioning sensor, I paid over $600 and the problem went away. In July 2024 the problem reoccured and I brought the vehicle back, I waited more than a week and had to call multiple times to find out what the problem was. The technician diagnosed it as a faulty crankshaft positioning sensor and quoted me $600 to fix. I reminded him that I had brought the vehicle in March for the same issue and was told they needed to look again. I was then called and told that they would replace the part for free but it would be $450 for labor to install the free part. They couldn’t definitively say if they installed a faulty part or if it was installed incorrectly but they effectively want me to pay twice for something that should last a decade. In addition a quick google search shows the average crankshaft position sensor installation costs $175. When asking for more details on the labor cost the technician informed me it would be $150 an hour and the job was quoted at 2.5 hours. The top YouTube search for installation of a sensor shows a person completing one in 5 minutes without the use of a lift. I can’t help but feel like the service department is taking advantage of people and needless to say once this issue is resolved I won’t be using this service center in the future and would strongly recommend people to look elsewhere.
I will update this review upon the resolution.

I would recommend Pride Hyundai to anyone looking to purchase a new vehicle. My sales rep Marina was very helpful in choosing the vehicle that fit my needs. The sales and finance managers were also professional and helpful. They made the buying experience easy and non-stressful unlike other dealerships. They may be a small dealership, but are big on customer satisfaction. I’m very happy with my new Tucson!

I made an appointment to see a specific used car. After driving a half hour to get to the dealership, I was informed that the car was sold yesterday. The salesman was apologetic, but there's no excuse for bad customer service and poor communication. This happened to me once before at a different dealership. In that situation, they offered to give me a free tank of gas for the inconvenience, which I declined. But, I appreciated their effort to make a bad situation better. If Pride wants to improve their poor reputation, they will need to go above and beyond to make sure that every customer interaction is professional, and learn how to turn a bad experience into a positive one.

Car buying experience was as expected however after buying the car there were a few things that still needed to be done and it was very difficult to deal with my salesman and the service dept. everyone would point their fingers at someone else to have the answer. Extremely frustrating. I would NOT recommend this dealership.

DO NOT GO TO PRIDE HYUNDAI OF SEEKONK FOR SERVICE. I do not typically write reviews but I have to let the public know that this business is not honest. I was charged twice as much to repair a turbo intercooler on a 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. Initially I was quoted $1300 for the repair. When we arrived to pick up the car, the price jumped to $1522.44. This did not seem right to me so I started calling other dealerships. They quoted me at prices in the $750 range for this job. After learning of this discrepancy, I called the dealership a number of times to rectify the situation. I even talked to the service manager Cody twice. He said he would look into it and call me back. He never did.

This is a poorly managed business. We had found a car that was of interest, we made and appointment to come check out the car. We specifically called the morning of to confirm the car was there and available because this dealership was a hour away.
We arrived to the dealer after the hour long commute only to find that the manager had taken the car on a vacation to Maine. The lack of communication and empathy over their performance by management was less than to be desired. Would definitely never return nor recommend this place to anyone.

I took my vehicle here after experiencing a noise in the front end near the tires. They were able to locate my problem, fix it, and do it all very quickly. While they had it they also repaired two recalls, and found another issue covered under my warranty. I will say that Brittany was absolutely amazing. She is incredible with the customers in and out of there all day. Without missing a beat she juggles her work seamlessly. She was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I left feeling confident in everything that was done to my vehicle. I have been driving it for over a week, no issues at all. Thank you Brittany and the service department for all of your work and for taking care of your customers so well!
