The Ferret cage was awful, three ferrets and it was 1pm and smelled of amonia. Very bad. Feces all over. I complained to staff and asked if it could be cleaned for thier health. Staff said it only gets done in the morning. Terrible policy ! They told me to call corporate... That is useful to the poor animals sitting in filth??

Not as big of reptile area as some of the other stores. If you can shop online and do pick up, usually get better deals.

I've had dogs my whole life, after the last passed, and with my schedule, I decided to adopt a cat. I went into to petco to just look around and pick up a few things. I did not expect the great conversation and all of the wonderful advice and tips I got from Danielle. She answered all my (stupid) questions and even during a pretty busy time when she had to step away she made sure to come back over and check on me often. Awesome customer service, will be returning.

I showed up at 7:46 to get son African Dwarf Frogs for my tank and was told "we cannot put our hands in a tank beyond 7 :45, UNLESS it is for a plant"
What is that about? 14 minutes before closing vs. 15 minutes before closing, we aren't allowed to put our hands in a tank?
Won't be coming here to purchase any thing for my 3 55 Gallon Fresh Water tanks again. Can you say LAZY?

The lizards they sell are basically on life support. Walked in the other day, One of the Lizards were dead. Shame. Staff is helpful though. Stores kind of dirty.

Very good. Although there was a pad of coupons for free Beggin' Strips with the purchase of Purina One (which is what I was buying. When I got to the register, the cashier said the coupon was expired. He said he would have the manager see why the coupon displayed was not removed.

Usually do not encounter any issues and have very helpful workers, Went to purchase a Beta fish and was met with an attitude and pop quiz by i’m assuming a manager or a higher up in the aquatic department.I have a patient who has a love for fish and knows how to care for them, I decided to purchase a fish for them, Woman told me I would not be able to purchase because it was a gift, I find the whereabouts of these fish to be none of her concern seeing as they were sitting in micro plastic bags just barely filled half with water. She continues to ask me if I have a tank and how long it has been running and proceeded with an attitude. Very disappointed in the customer service and nasty attitude.
