While visiting my mother for the holidays, I was present for her new washer and dryer delivery. The two delivery men were absolutely amazing. Ivan and Regime. They handled my impatience with grace and professionalism. My mother said she had a similar experience at the store, with the associate Quinn. Lowe's has some helpful patient and kind amazing people. Thank you.

I only have a Home Depot where I live, and LOWES offers so much more and both higher end materials and quality quantity of materials. However, tonight was a mix tonight. When I was looking for a stud finder, a gentleman left what he was doing and took me across the store and helped me quite a bit. However, when I went to check out, They were no manned registers available. Everything with self check out. And there was a high school boy that was sitting there, playing on his phone and appeared very disInterested in helping me out. Being a senior and very old-school, I hate self-self checkout registers, so it was bothersome that there was not a regular available.

This is one of the two Lowe's closest to my condo in Providence. I like that is close to many other stores that I frequent so it's an easy part of a shopping trip.I went to check out some ceiling fans and their selection is really good, as well as the prices...they really have different price points and quality to choose from. So based on your budget, it's easy to find something that fits your needs.Staff is scarce but once you find someone, they are very helpful.Lowe's is headquartered in Mooresville, North Carolina, the company operates a chain of over 2,200 retail stores in the United States and Canada. Lowe's is the second-largest hardware chain in the United States (previously the largest in the U.S. until surpassed by The Home Depot in 1989) behind rival The Home Depot and ahead of Menards. It is also the second-largest hardware chain in the world, also behind The Home Depot.

Nightmare. Bought an a/c. Was told it would be installed in 2 days. Third party company called to say it would be a week. In a heatwave. Scheduled an appointment. They did not show up. Rescheduled for today. Again, they did not show up. Do yourself a favor and don't do business with these incompetent people who lie to you and waste your time.

Buyers Beware ! You will do business with this Lowe's home improvement department at your own peril! I contracted with them last April for a fence installation and was told by their employee Michael Woods the work would be done in 6-8 weeks. This turned out to be a boldface lie. After several weeks went by i called the new store manager Patrick to find out what the hold up was as I hadn't heard anything after prepaying a hefty sum of money. Only then did I hear from a subcontractor fence company called Anchor out of Pawtucket. They advised me they were booked solid and it would be August before they could do installation. They also stated they had similar issues with other customers being told erroneous timeframes by Mike Woods, etc. Grant it - things have been tricky because of covid-- but given the amount of misleading communications .. and there were many... Lowe's couldn't even get my change of phone number updated correctly in their system even though I called twice and was told twice it was updated.. so, on day of delivery for fence materials.. no one had my new phone # to advise me of imminent delivery, and, as a result I was out the door to an important meeting without a minute to spare when a giant flat bed truck arrives at my house wanting to know where to leave everything just as we are expecting torrential rains ( one pallet has several bags of cement in paper bags which had insufficient plastic wrap to keep it dry )... on and on ! This was a truly horrible experience all around and in hindsight I wished I had just cancelled the order and gotten a refund once i knew they were going to have my money for 5 months before I would ever see my fence! In the end the fence went up and looked okay until I realized there was an insufficient amount of cement used to anchor the posts. Fence was flexing the next day when Henri blew through. This caused me a whole new level of aggravation with the fence company who says they can't do anything on their own to correct without going through a song and a dance with Lowe's first. I went to GREAT lengths to explain I needed these posts FIRMLY anchored as I live somewhere with high winds near the water, very sandy soil and have erosion issues where fence was to be placed. No one cared to listen. I'm leaving a before pix and ( AFTER I had to take matters into my own hands after adding proper amount of cement )... clearly what was originally done was inadequate! ... just read the instructions on side of quikrete for setting posts and hole size recommendations, etc. The real kicker is after the fence was installed I noticed there was at least 4 bags of unused cement... hmmm? As a customer I should have never had to be put through this ordeal. Anchor fence kept blaming all the screw ups on Lowe's .. wonder why they keep taking set ups from them for work if they believe they are so awfull??! Keywords from this experience: deceptive, unprofessional, ineffective systems of communication, uber aggravation, stay away! I see from this review board I'm not the first to encounter such incompetencies... wish I had seen and heeded what previous warnings yelp reviewers had already submitted.

Horrible Horrible Horrible. Contracted them in 2016 and they abandoned the project after 2 years. Left a mess on my front lawn, damaged my roof and never completed the job.Never Never use them
