Great selection of foods. Meat always good. Helpful staff. The only time I go to Shaws is when I need the particular cat food my cats need.

Such a nice independent supermarket located in a beautiful town. The staff was extremely helpful so that I could get everything that I needed. The only other place around there that had groceries was CVS and this supermarket had a larger selection and lower prices. Can recommend this very highly.

I go here only because it's convenient. The prices are pretty expensive. The worst part about this place are the teenagers that work here. The adults their are fabulous, especially during the weekdays. However, if you go on a Sunday, be prepared to be treated like a second class citizen or like your disturbing the teenagers that work there. They're rude, some of them don't even acknowledge you when you say hello. One Sunday, I even saw a young woman yelling at a customer in front of a manager! It is pretty apparent that the teenagers can behave any way they want and there are no consequences for their behavior. Case in point, I went there 2 weeks later and the same young woman was still employed there! Needless to say, I was totally shocked! Anyone would expect one would be fired after such a display in front of all of Scituate! The one in Hull is superb, because they don't employ entitled teenagers that are downright rude to customers! I have never once had the problem in Hull that I have in Scituate.

Clean. Seafood department doesn't smell like some other locations. Checkout is quick. Staff is helpful and friendly.

The only grocery store in Scituate, and I love it. The store has everything: meat, potatoes, bread, pepperoni, carrots, and a lot of other stuff. Though it’s kinda smaller than other grocery stores near me in Cohasset, I’m proud that it’s right in my town at the harbor :)
