This is not a place if you are a person of color! I went in to find a body board(kick board) for toddler. I explained what I need, the person in the shop, seemingly senior, showed me a larger one and upon reiterating I need this for toddler
, he said they have few coming in sometime and just left from there. It seemed another associate tried suggesting some alternative but was cut short by the first person. It's not about what they said or what they did, but probably the quite arrogance and prejudice that was uncomfortable. I felt unwelcome in the place.

If you skate/surf, mark will have you covered. Being in the surf industry since he could walk he’ll guide you in the right direction with his knowledge and experience. Expansive board selection as well as used board section that can have hidden gems at half the price! I got a 980$ short board brand new condition for 400$!

I can not say enough great things about this shop.While looking for a board in California, I could not find the right fit that spoke to me, that's when I started looking at other shops around the country. Thankfully I was lead to Nor'easter.Mark was extremely helpful and on top of it, he knew exactly what I was looking for. Purchasing a board, through the phone is no easy feat. The team made it as simple as walking in the shop.I left feeling thankful and excited for the next board that will come through Mark, Ned and Milo.Mahalo guys

I've never felt more welcome in a surf shop. Mark and crew are very knowledgeable about all the products they carry, and all the sports they support. Competitive prices and quality of product. Fantastic staff. What a great place! I'll be back for sure!

Mark is very responsive and genuine. Emailed him today about a fin and he replied within the hour. They stock all your surf needs, have an excellent fin selection, and some nice boards from Takayama, RC, and Black Rose.

Haven't been to Noreaster for years, went there for a replacement fin. After a friendly and professional greeting by staff, she showed me to the board bench then got Mark for the fin consult. Good discussion centered on the conditions I use the board in, with surf talk digressions into where the board had been (a Morey Pope Bisect travel board Bruce Jones 9'6") over its 20 year life. Scoped out SUPs for spouse, then headed out. Great experience; friendly and knowledgable. Excellent shop.

Lots of boards but...I went in to get a new SUP. The guy behind the counter was playing a guitar. He looked up, said, "hey," and resumed playing. Never offered to help. I wondered around then stood near the counter. He never offered to help. So, I left. I guess I'll spend my money elsewhere.
