Pet Grooming
Center Pet Care & Grooming
306 Central St # A, SaugusDrako's (my dog) favorite dog salon. He knows when it's wash day :) the staff already knows him. The first day I dropped him off I was nervous because of his separation anxiety. He ended up loving it and now every time I take him he gets so happy. Compared to other places, their prices are affordable and the staff is truly caring. Aside from a grooming salon, they have items such as leashes, bags, snacks/treats, ointments, dog clothes and more. Very fun and welcoming environment. The plaza where the shop is located has a free parking lot. The dogs are able to use the bathroom by the trash bins in the end.

Poochies Dog Grooming
371 Central St, SaugusThe Best!!! Liz did a great job on Pebbles. She did pumpkin orange highlights on her ears. She's adorable.
One other thing that I would like to add. They are fair honest, and pleasing owners. In the grooming world, that's all you can ask for. Great grooming and great people!!

Paws For Applause
If using GPS use, 34 Felton Street Saugus. 1630Broadway, 312 Essex St, SaugusI brought my 3 1/2 yr old fur baby, and this was her 1st time having a bath, there and they were exceptional with her. And very reasonable. I would go back in a heartbeat.Paula was very pleasant when I spoke with her and told me the price up front. What I like the most is they do not medicate them.

Saugus Animal Hospital
300 Broadway, SaugusSaugus Animal Hospital and Dr. Anderson are the very best! I've been bringing my cats there for years and they always go above and beyond. The care they receive is thorough and complete and never rushed. All questions are answered and I recommend them 100%.

North Boston Dog Training
Centre St, SaugusI am so thrilled I found North Boston Dog Training! Rhonda trained our very high energy Brittany with the two week board and train! I was very hesitant about the training because Navy has allergies and very sensitive skin (can’t use most training collars) but so glad we sent him. Rhonda listened to our concerns and designed the training around what worked for him. Within two weeks, he is so much better on a leash and is already off leash in our backyard. Before training, I’d literally be in tears during our walks but now I’m skipping and smiling. So thankful for Rhonda and North Boston Dog Training. Will be using them again for any future dog!

GoodFellas Doggy Daycare
20 Thresher St, SaugusI cannot say enough good things about Roberta who we have done 1 on 1 training sessions with our dog Jack. Jack has progressed so far since we got him with Roberta's help, guidance and patience with our lil husky Jack. We have tried other places just so we could mix it up and in my opinion, we are sticking with Roberta. Our Jack is now enjoying his intermediate class as we speak and is doing fantastic. Thank you Roberta and GoodFellas Doggy Daycare.

Soc's Ice Cream
67 Lynn Fells Pkwy, SaugusReally good ice cream here! I got a regular size with oreo and purple cow. Both flavors were very nice; very creamy, very milky, and they give you quite a lot for what you pay for (I think for me, I paid less than $5 for a regular scoop, and you get almost 50% more than, day, Salt and Straw, which charges more like $7). Of the two, I liked Oreo more, but the staff recommended Purple Cow, and I can see why; it's filled with white and dark chocolate chips, and they add a good crunch to the ice cream. Overall, I would love to visit again, and try more flavors.
Also, pretty random, but their ice cream melts pretty fast in the sun. It probably indicates that there are very few preservatives added to the ice cream (a good thing).

Dumpling Garden (Saugus)
467 Essex St, SaugusStaying in Saugus on vacation and decided to try dumpling garden. Amazing judgement on my part ?
No but seriously I got a chicken and broccoli lunch and pork soup dumplings. Everything was delicious! I would definitely recommend a stop here if you're in the area.
Parking: The lot is a little weird and parts of it are straight up a hill, but there's plenty of spaces so you shouldn't have a problem.
