There is plenty of fabric to choose from. The staff was slightly less informed than I had hoped but I was able to find what I was looking for eventually.

Largest craft store in the area, with a great selection. I visit for the extensive embroidery supplies. They're often short staffed, like most Joann's, but the employees have always been great.
