“If you are an ihg club member and higher, you would feel loved and prestige if you stay here. This franchise/branch has exemplary staffs down from housekeeping especially to front desk. Wouldn’t have known this is an express. I as an silver elite got an upgrade with a hand written note, how sweet it is for the effort. The rooms, gym and breakfast area are so clean! Free parking. No shuttle service to the airport but they do have a taxi service that has a flat rate of $35 and is available 24/7. If i would go back in boston, i would stay again at this hotel.Rooms: So clean and smells good. They clean your room everyday too!Safety: Secured”

“I did enjoy that they had vending machines, parking available and it's located near a Walmart which you can walk to. Kitchen appliances so you may cook. Kinda pricey and should have gotten a bigger bed for a queen but it was manageable.Walkability: Next to Walmart.Food & drinks: Vending machines and ability to cook.”

“Great place to stay in Fenway. The music theme makes this historic motel unique. Parking is limited and pricy but very convenient for the location. Staff is very professional and friendly. Rooms and common areas are very clean and well kept.Rooms: Modern remodel kept the feel of the motel but the modern remodel is very successful.Nearby activities: Walking distance to Fenway Park and the T.Noteworthy details: Music themed remodel with lots of details.”

“We love the Four Seasons! We had one of our first dates at the former Bristol Lounge, then got engaged on Valentines Day at the Four Seasons, and came back here to get married in May 2023. We had a delicious meal in the new Coterie restaurant for an intimate family wedding gathering. We will likely stay at the Four Seasons to celebrate many anniversaries to come”

“Excellent place to stay. Clean, modern, and high quality rooms with great adjustments for light levels. The only downside is that our bathroom lock had issues. Overall, great experience. The hotel is close to many major landmarks and within walking distance of a subway station. Easy access to taxis, Uber, etc as well. In particular, the housekeeping here is fantastic (our housekeeper's name was Xiaomin). They have name cards for each housekeeper to leave in the rooms to hold their service accountable.Rooms: Clean and orderlyNearby activities: Hop on hop off tour bus available in 2m walkSafety: SafeWalkability: Very walkableFood & drinks: Great restaurantsNoteworthy details: Excellent housekeeping”

“This place is absolutely awesome. Loved the room and location. I left my watch behind and the staff mailed it back the very next day. Could not recommend this place enough.”

“Delicious food, even when busy. Atmosphere is spot on as far as older New England-y Yankee establishments (love the panel, gorgeous drapery, and mahogany furniture. Recommendations: the house pasta, steak, and the cheese board. Wonderful on a Sunday afternoon in the Spring. Salem is lovely throughout the entire year.”

“Place was cute, room was extremely tiny and could barely move around without honestly walking into each other. Let alone the $200 hold that they still haven’t given back. I can’t understand the issue. I’ve called multiple times and they said they released it. At this point it’s been a month and I just kept being told I need to drive and hour to go back for a piece of paper. They won’t send it through mail or email it. That area is a no parking area so I’d have to pay for a garage just for that and it’s not like I need to be down there again. It’s cute but I honestly wouldn’t go back.”

“Our toilet was running about every 3 minutes. The handles were installed wrong and you had to turn them 280 degrees to get the water to turn on and they were loose - which became difficult to turn water on at the sink because it ran into the wall and we’d have to lift it out of the socket just to get water. The light above the sink also was dangling. I told the front desk this, but maintenance had just left, so he sent housekeeping upstairs (who claimed it had all been fixed). It had not. No room exchange was offered. No points back (I’m Gold) offered either. So we turned off the toilet at the wall/water source and used the shower to brush our teeth and wash our hands A room like that shouldn’t have ever been let out- housekeeping should have noticed at turn over (and maybe they did! The hotel was full bc of a Bruins game). Simple fixes on hotels part, but a REAL obnoxious element to our stay. The bed was comfortable and pillows just fine. I liked the noise machine touch. I’m normally not a noise machine person but we used it. We were in room 501 and high enough up to not have issues with street noise or the sadness of Bruins fans on the night of a tough OT loss ?We had a late night drinks at the bar and had nice chats with the bartender. Which turned into some quick bites. All nice.We stay at a lot of IHG hotels. Just recently we stayed at the Indigo in St Louis (truly awful neglect on management part and doing a disservice to the brand) and Waco (excellent hotel all around). The hotel staff was excellent and available and informative without being overwhelming.Location is as good as it gets. Ubers were easy to grab over to the airport and over to Cambridge. Otherwise we walked or took the T.”

“A good hotel near the airport with breakfast included, I don't see it for a vacation but if you are connecting with another flight and spending the night, the majority of guests are stewards and pilots, the rooms are spacious and clean, the bed comfortable, Well soundproofed, blind-type curtains for light, clean common areas, vending machines and coffee 24 hours a day. gym, heated pool, free parking, varied buffet...well, €130 a night and it's pretty good, you won't be disappointed...”

“As pet-friendly hotel you can take your pet with extra $100 charge. The hotel staffs were all greatly paying attentions to the guests and service quality are at very high level. But you can’t take your pets into the restaurant and you can’t leave the pet alone in the room so it’s difficult to have breakfast/dinner in the hotel restaurant if you accompanied with your pets. That’s the minis point.”

“We love the Kimpton Hotels, first it is dog friendly and they don't charge a fee for pets. They have bowls and treats available and pet care services. Next is their 5-6 pm free wine. A nice time to spend some time with friends or get to meet new ones, our dog certainly did .This particular Kimpton has a nice art installation at the entrance of the hotel, a nice armillary. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating. We've never had a bad experience at the Kimpton (this is our 3rd Kimpton).”

“I loved our stay at the Revolution Hotel! The rates are great, the place was clean, charmingly decorated, the location was perfect to walk right into the city, and had beautiful views. My biggest note is to double check when you book if you’re having a “shared” bathroom. They’re very clean and private, but worth noting if you’re someone who needs to use the bathroom in the night. The rooms are snug but cute! Perfect for snuggling up and watching a snowstorm over the city.Rooms: Cozy! Small but the exact right size for a night in BostonSafety: Very safe and clean area!Walkability: Super close to the city! Maybe a mile walk from ChinatownNoteworthy details: The bathrooms can be shared. Make sure you double check when you book! They’re very clean, lovely facilities, but I didn’t expect it when I booked and would hate for anyone with mobility issues or bathroom struggles to be caught off guard.”

“We were in town for college auditions and had a wonderful stay at The Colonnade. Every employee we interacted with provided exceptional service. We had a lovely room with a great view, comfortable beds and pillows and a convenient location within walking distance the majority of our stay.”

“The Harbor Light Inn in Marblehead left us utterly enchanted! The location was spot on, with ample parking—a rare gem in most hotels —that made our stay hassle-free. The historic rooms were a sight to behold; their classic charm blended seamlessly with modern comforts. And those beds? Pure heaven! The attention to sustainability with glass water bottles didn't go unnoticed—it's the little things that matter. Plus, the thoughtful touch of chocolates on the nightstand added an extra touch of warmth. The public spaces, from the cozy bar to the inviting dining and living areas, were an absolute delight. Our day started off with breakfast served in their communal dining room with other guests (we had previously filled out a menu of requests for breakfast) and it was served coursed with fruits and yogurt first, than an egg strata that was divine, with thick bacon on top, followed by a slice of housemade blueberry coffee cake. Plus all the coffee and juices we needed to stay hydrated and start the day.Being within walking distance to Marblehead's Main Street and all attractions made exploring the area effortless and perfect for a fall getaway. The Harbor Light Inn truly shines when visiting the North of Boston. Its prime location, coupled with the cozy comforts and attention to detail, made our stay unforgettable. If you're seeking a historic haven with modern conveniences, this inn is an absolute must!”

“Amazing building and great property overall. Staff so friendly and location perfect. One our best stays ever.Rooms: Really great rooms. Ours was a loft blended into the original customs house structure.Walkability: Close to lots of local attractions, including north end.Food & drinks: Lots of restaurants close by. Quality varies massively, but worth putting in effort to find a good place”

We stayed on 12th floor and had a beautiful view over the harbor and city.Walkability: Everything is in walking distance, the harbor is a short 5 min walk.Food & drinks: The restaurant below is beautiful and offers delicious food. The $1 oysters during happy hour are a must try.The cafe offers delicious pastries, hot teas and coffee all day long.”

“I stayed here for 3 nights and it was the perfect place! Great location, nice staffs and affordable.I took one star off because the cleaning lady didn’t come to my room once while I was staying there, but it probably because my room was a little “out of the way”.Overall it is a great place and I would stay again when I’m in Boston!”

“Wifi didn't work the entire time for us, front desk said "it's not their job" to fix it or offer a discount because of the problem. Stay away from here. Also the sheets had some weird marks and if you're on the first floor, the noise from across the street is very loud until around midnight.”

“Stayed there one night while we were in town for blue man group show and instead of driving an hour home we stayed in Boston. This place was better than expected. The valet was over the top friendly, nice and welcoming. The check in was easy and hassle free and the male employee checking us in was super nice. When we got back to the hotel after the show the room next to us there seemed to be a domestic situation and we called down to the front desk which resulted in security or whoever I didn’t see responding to that room within minutes and there was no other issues for the rest of the night. Room was clean and decent sized. Requesting our vehicle from valet was super easy and check out was smooth the following day.Thought the hotel was priced reasonably although, I can’t provide comparison to nearby hotels since this is the first hotel that came up when googled it. I liked the reviews and the price so I booked it. Next time we venture into Boston and decide to stay the night we definitely will stay here again.Rooms: Spacious and clean. Temperature was perfect when we walked in. Wish the bathroom had a tub instead of just the shower.Food & drinks: Fire and ice restaurant was 5 min walking distance from hotel.”

“Could not believe the value for the price. Great decor. Friendly staff. We were welcomed with a glass of glass/rosé! The suite was the same price as a regular room so we went with that. Very spacious, with two Queen beds and a little “living room” area (open concept). The restaurant was lovely and everything we ate and drank was delicious! The only down, which is why I’m giving the rooms 4 stars is because the clock was disconnected and when I went to try to plug it in I found that the space behind the night table was SUPER dusty and had some fallen items back there like a hair elastic. Other than that though, in the more viable areas it did seem clean. Would stay here again!”

“I only spent 1 night, but my room was spacious with a kitchen, sofa, and comfy queen bed. The bathroom was huge! Everything was immaculate. Breakfast the next day was everything you needed with service with a smile&some banter. Front desk ladies gave us a list of walkable restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. My only gripe was paying $39 for parking as the garage is not enclosed. But can't complain about anything elseWalkability: Tons of shops/restaurants nearby on foot!Food & drinks: A handful of different places to choose from”

“The aesthetic of the hotel from the restaurant to the lobby to the rooms was beautiful! It is located near a little shopping area and you can walk on over across the street for breakfast/coffee in the morning and one of the other yummy restaurants at night! Lastly, the staff was absolutely wonderful and kind. The valet, the two beautiful ladies at the front desk, etc; every interaction I had was top knotch, professional, and sweet. Glad to have stayed here!”
