“This review is for those considering service plans offered by some of the big names like Best Buy.
My wife and I went with Best Buy about four years ago. Used them a few times since then. The last time was a few weeks ago with my HP ENVY laptop. It was booting up and operating slowly. A Best Buy service person took control of the laptop via cyberspace, did a few things and it worked fine for a short period of time until recently when it became unusable. I took it to Somerville computers and left it with Mario overnight. We communicated two times by phone. In the end, he backed up files, replaced the Windows operating system (which had damaged files) and replaced it with the most recent version. He also uploaded Microsoft Outlook. I had email back along with my high speed laptop for a very reasonable price.
The bottom line is this; the big guys can have talented folks but in general you luck out when you actually get one. Why not go to a local guy who by all reviews is highly experienced and reasonable? Like most good things nowadays, stay local, buy local.”

“I really love it because it has every type of tech you could want unless it's something that's hard to find but other than that you can get computer parts,game systems and much more and the staff is extremely helpful and nice professional as well can tell they are interviewed nicely but the ambience can get a little bit loud with alarms going off a lot so if your sensitive to sound maybe go somewhere else but other than that great place”

“I began my purchases with an Apple Online sales person to get some questions answered and arranged for pickup at the Lynnfield Market Street Apple store.
I was greeted at the door, by a wonderful person with disabilities and he was the nicest person. Then I went to the area where I was going to get my purchases of a new IPhone 16 Pro and a new iPad Air.
I had my old iPhone with me, and I was greeted by Beth who had many years experience. She told me the iPhone could be set up easily with the old phone via a Phone to Phone transfer of all my data which was great. We began the process and then the hand off went to Barry, another seasoned Apple Employee with many years experience. The data transfer went flawlessly and he recommended I check out everything and then I was handed to Walter to complete the process. I thought everything went flawlessly and it was the easiest iPhone and iPad purchase and data transfer I ever did.
Normally I use a Mac Transfer from Back-up with a cable ,but having the two devices side by side, it was fast, easy, and perfect.
Although I don't upgrade often and this was a 2 device upgrade, I performed the data transfer from my Old iPad ot the new iPad at home, having done it at the Market Street Apple store saw first hand how it worked, so I had the confidence to do it from home and it was perfect again!
Thank you all for your assistance and great knowledge that you have to assist those who relay on the Apple store to make things easy!!

“I went to Chris about my laptop that was a little over 11 years old. I was just trying to determine if it was time to retire it and get a new one or if it could be overhauled for some more life. He's an awsome guy and knows his stuff. He's fairly priced and the only reason I didn't have him work on the laptop was to no fault of his. It just made more sense to put that money towards the next laptop. He was also more than happy to let me pick his brain on some specs for my next laptop, and If I have any issues in the future I know exactly who to go to. Would highly recomend.”
