“I walked into Danvers Rug with a number of heirloom wool rugs in terrible condition. One was a large Persian, the others an assortment of Navajo and Mexican rugs. I despaired of getting them all restored but the proprietor is a true master. He recognized the origin of my small rugs ("Navajo 1880..."), did a fantastic job restoring the large Persian and for one piece sent away for hand-spun wool and dyed and rewove it himself to match an unusual blue background. And the price was very reasonable.There just aren't many such highly skilled, knowledgeable, caring and careful masters any more. If you have or want special rugs, this is your place (although it may not look like it from the outside). A VERY happy customer, October 2023”

“I had a very good experience here the carpets and service were amazing, however, the carpet's did smell very fruity and like a vape smell. My carpets came having this smell and I know its from a vape because its the exact same smell my brothers apartment smells like who vapes 24/7. Not a huge deal to me but just wanted to raise awareness because maybe a worker is hitting their vape in the store, which could turn off others from buying something.”
