I came in to get a notarized form near the end of the day. Raj and Laurie went above and beyond to do the form near the end of the day when they didn’t need to. Excellent service.

Came in for notary the Manager of the bank he was very rude and walk around like he owns the place barking orders. tells me your next take a seat 15 min, after the notary was done with the customer and ready to take me he pulls her to do something else and ended waiting 40 min for a notary. The lady who did the notary was a sweetheart and very nice this review is for the poor manager.

I had visited four different branches and they were unable to help me without an appointment , what needed to be done was easily available thru the Mobile App but none of the employees took the time to explain that I could of done it thru the App. Jessica in Saugus provided an excellent customer service, she walk me thru the steps to be able to complete what needed to be done, and she taught me a lot of things that I am able to do via the App. Great job Jessica you really know how to treat your customers.

I just walked into this Bank of America to ask their help cashing bonds. Their door was completely open, but the second I stepped into the lobby, this lady started shouting at me from a side office in broken English that they were closed and literally shooing me away with her hand. The other lady at the front counter, instead of saying "oh I'm sorry, we're closed, but how can we help you?" She doesn't't even acknowledge me. She just asks out loud "Why is that door open?" to a coworker out of sight while giving me a scornful look.

This bank doesn’t even deserve one star. I came into Bank of America in Saugus from SOUTH CAROLINA to open an estate account for my sister who passed away. My sister was unfortunately a Bank of America customer. I had every single piece of paperwork necessary - death certificate, required EIN, and paperwork from the Suffolk County Probate Court appointing me Administrator of her estate. I went to a BOA branch in South Carolina where I live and was told that I need to open the estate account in the state where she resided. So I make travel arrangements to travel all the way to Massachusetts to do so. 1100 miles away. Fine, I do what it takes to get the estate settled. I get to the bank and explain why I’m there. They say someone will be with you shortly. First the manager, I assume because he never bothered to introduce himself, asked for my paperwork. I could instantly tell that because he assumed I was younger than I actually am (46) and that I would be wholly unprepared. I showed him that I was prepared. He took copies and advised that someone would be right with me. I sit there for 2 hours watching person after person being catered to before another manager, again I assume because he didn’t bother to introduce himself, tells me that my paperwork wasn’t approved. That’s it. No other explanation. Mind you, this is the exact same probate paperwork I provided BOA to handle my sister’s accounts when she died - freezing the accounts, transferring funds, discussing my sister’s bank history with me. However the paperwork is all of a sudden not good enough to open an estate account? Where is the logic? Please explain. I explain that I came from South Carolina just for this and was told specifically by the manager of the BOA in South Carolina that this was all that was needed - going into a MA branch with this paperwork, which the SC branch said was enough. After breaking down in tears, still dealing with the grief of losing my sister, the manager just stares, watches as I fall apart because I am running out of time to settle her estate AND I have a flight to catch back to South Carolina, and turns around and begins helping another customer. The unprofessional disrespect was demeaning, embarrassing, and cold. I could have died right there and these men would have, stepped right over me. That is exactly how it felt.I am not letting this go. I am taking my business elsewhere however I am not letting this go until I get an explanation as to why this happened the way it did. Treating customers who are already dealing with unbelievable grief and working under the stressful deadlines of the probate court, the IRS, and every other governmental entity involved in settling her estate, in such a disgusting and unsympathetic manner is horrendous.I’ve reached out to the Senior Regional Director of Customer Relations. Hopefully he can shed some light on this and do whatever is necessary to make sure that the managers at the Saugus branch, or BOA as a whole, never treat a customer this way again.

Could not process more than 7 deposits, because “a line would build up”. There was no one in line while I was there. Teller was incredibly rude.

The worst of the worst. I don’t do my personal banking here nor would i ever. I have no choice where I do my business banking. Always lines to the door and out. Manager has the capability of hoping on as a teller but just stands there and looks at everyone’s frustration. Beyond frustrated coming here. This is everyday not just once in awhile.
