Great experience from start to finish. Much more reasonably priced than other moving companies and their partners were skilled, timely and able to load the truck so that no damages occured. They delivered within the promised window and there were no surprise charges, the space you use it what you pay for regardless of items or weight.

UPack is great, however both my partner and my parents had suspicious charges on their cards after booking through the site. Could be a coincidence but there was nothing else bought in common besides a UPack reservation, and with different banks and cards. UPack needs to check their site security. That is the reason for the 3 stars, but the experience was great otherwise. Just buyer beware and make sure you have your fraud alerts on!

I used U-Pack to send a container cross country and they kept to their timelines and container arrived with no damaged items. Also prices were competitive. Not sure what else you could ask for.

UPack moving was the best decision I could have made for my cross country move. Beginning with customer service and pricing - everything is so streamlined and simple, w knowledgeable customer support reps who can pull up any detail of your move, even as it changes, and pricing so straightforward that you think there must be a catch - but there isn't! (Anyone who is used to the rigamarole of the "other" well known moving container companies, from pressured sales to quotes so itemized and changeable you can't possibly know what your final total will be - scrap all of that nonsense and just choose upack with abf!) One great benefit of upack is you can have as many cubes dropped off for packing as you think you will need, but you only get charged for the number of cubes that actually ship! This is a great feature that by itself makes it worlds better than other companies. No standing in the driveway with items that won't fit, or having to book too big a container just to be sure it all will. Upack eliminates all of that nonsense AND reduces carbon footprint by ensuring you have exactly the space you need - no more, no less, and at no extra cost. My cross country move plans changed unexpectedly during my move and Upack customer service was AMAZING! They held my cube at their facility for 2 weeks beyond the original delivery date and rerouted the delivery to a different apartment as needed. My fees owed did not change AT ALL - I was still charged the original quoted amount - and customer care was so reassuring and helpful every step of the way. Also worth noting, my move took place in February and despite multiple snowstorms during the time my cube was with upack/abf, everything was clean and dry upon arrival - no damage from the elements or shipping procedures. Moving can be stressful, even with the best laid plans. If you are moving long distance, do yourself a favor, contact upack through abf, and allow yourself to focus on other things! Because this company has long distance container shipping, systems communications, and streamlined pricing down! Plus they have the most reliable customer service and on the ground teams you could hope for during your move.

We have moved half a dozen times due to work requirements and work would typically cover the cost of the move. When we recently moved from Boston area to Florida on our dime, we unbundled the project into its parts (packers and loaders, transportation, and unloading and unpacking). We contacted U-Pack who delivered a 26' trailer the day before the packers were set to arrive and parked it exactly where we needed it. When the loaders were finished, U-Pack came back, hooked up the trailer, and off they went. They arrived in FL several days before scheduled but kept the trailer until we were ready to unload. The customer service folks were terrific, courteous and graciously adjusting to changes in our load / unload dates. If you have to move, going this route easily saves 50% from traditional full-service moving companies. A great company.

We had to move our son and daughter-in-law quite suddenly due to a health issue. EVERYBODY I talked to at UPack was kind, thorough and very helpful. Made a very stressful situation a little easier! Would highly recommend their affordable and dependable service.

U-Pack was 5 star in every aspect of our move across country. Both drop offs and pick ups on time, cross country arrival guarantee fulfilled and all our belongings arrived in perfect shape, no breakage, etc. Moving isn't fun but we'll use them again if we have to move.

Moving to Puerto Rico isn't simple. But, this is a good way to do it. My only complaint is that the prediction of when we could get our stuff was inaccurate, because the PR government has to sign off before the cubes could be released.

I moved from Massachusetts to Florida. We had a lot of stuff from a 6 bedroom house and a full basement and attic. U-Pack cost me $4500 compared to quotes of $15,000 - $20,000 from the full service movers. They did exactly what they said they were going to do along each step of the way with 1 exception. They said it would take 5 - 9 business days for delivery but it only took 4. We were very happy about that. And they will hold your trailer at their facility until you are ready for it. If it's only a couple of days there is no extra charge. Again, we were very happy with the company and would absolutely use them if we moved again.Service: Out-of-county removals

I really wanted to give them 3.5 stars. Front End, New England - Really great customer service. Accurate times. Flexible and reachable. I was able to coordinate directly with dispatch. 5 STARS. Back End, Florida - Started out great, received 1st trailer on time but we had a huge delay on the second one with no one knowing when it was going to arrive. Had difficulty when asking to speak to dispatch. Rep. didn't remember me or my situation after numerous phone calls. 3 STARS. Equipment - First trailer was ok. The two panels that segregated your items from the next person were in rough shape. The locking bar was damaged and difficult to operate because of. Second Trailer had been repaired after an accident (before we got it) and allowed water to enter in the front corner. Panels were in even worse shape. Value - Value was better than PODS because of the amount of stuff I was moving. Had our own muscles so we did not need to pay for movers. I felt the value was decent. Overall - I still would use them again. They just need to be a little more chill on the phone and realize that they hold in their hands all your wordly possessions.
