I was in this store at 59 Boston St in Salem MA. Friday June 21st the cashier at approximately around 9 am, was very helpful in directing me to everything I was searching for. she directed me to all the correct locations for everything I needed. As she was checking me out she was very respectful and polite and a nice smile also as I was leaving she made sure that she told me to have a good day and be well. The customer service was better than anyone I have ever experienced at any Walgreens. Thank you for the pleasant experience I will recommend this store to everyone

Pulled up to drivers. After 10 minutes someone asked dob and name. It’s been 20 mins and nobody in sight. Think they went to lunch or home is this what customer service has become??????? Worse pharmacy ever.

If you get sick on a Sunday and need a prescription don’t use this pharmacy, idk this until yesterday, when I went to urgent care and they sent my prescription to here. Now that I’ve had to wait over 24 hours, I’ve gotten worse.. so I’ve switched to an actual pharmacy that’s open 7 days a week. And not to mention trying to just pick up my regular medication turns into a nightmare..

Friendliest Walgreens I've ever been to. Staff is genuinely kind and helpful. There is an ATM (I believe TD), FedEx drop off, photo printing, and is pretty large. Never had a problem with pharmacy.

I visited the Walgreens on Boston St in Salem a week ago. Maylee was excellent!! She stopped to help me with scanning and printing some old photos. She was very patient, kind and personable. The store is lucky to have her!!! Thank you again Maylee for your kindness.

I'm very impressed with the employees at this location. I've been coming here for quite a few years now and have noticed the incredible improvement all around. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and professional. You really don't see this type of professionalism anywhere anymore and it's unfortunate. Keep doing what your doing!

Quiet, quick, and polite staff. The aisles are neat, and products are all in order in their properly designated place, so it makes finding things easier. Each aisle has a category to help shoppers find what their looking for. The thing that surprised me is Walgreens offering credit cards which I feel weird to have, same with CVS if they have offered store credit cards too. I would be weirded out if convience stores offered store credit cards.

This is in regards to the pharmacy. Prescriptions for my two children were verified to have been delivered received by noon, and by 6:30pm they were not done. The pharmacy closes at 7:00. This isn’t the first or second time unfortunately. Though I explained that they were antibiotics and both kids were ill, I was still asked to come back tomorrow. They then told me they could only fill one and that they could just share the medication, which did not help because they were to be two different dosages. The pharmacist technician then told me I can just go to the next city over and they can fill it. When I asked if they could call over and make sure they had it, their reply was “I’m busy!”

hanging up the phone when I am in line to not serve a customer is not only unbecoming of an established pharmacy like this, but it is actually rude. I know that things are difficult, but it is not necessary to do that (I have tried to call since yesterday - 2 hours and never got ahold of anyone.. and today during my lunch break, waited 30 minutes to be first in line and then they hung up the call without answering - now trying to get back on the call and I have more than 3 people ahead of me). I guess my time wasn't worth it compared to everyone else and hence why they are able to talk to other people.

Before I moved to Salem I found Walgreens to be modern and efficient with quality help...and enough help. For some reason every Walgreens I try in Salem is just awful. Understaffed. Stressed out staff. Lengthy lines. Many key items out of stock. I don't get it. It's bad. See my photo. This is at 5PM on a Monday night!

I've been a customer of this Walgreen's for about 8 years now. I will probably be switching to CVS soon due to what seems like issues every time I go there for a prescription. A brief synopsis of what transpired recently. I went to pick up a prescription that has always been covered by my insurance, was told by the Pharmacy Tech who I had never seen before that it wasn't covered. (later found out it was their error) it is still covered by my insurance. I was about half way through the store to leave and the 2 Pharmacy Tech's were talking about me. Loud enough for me to hear halfway across the store. Very unprofessional!!! I don't know what the issue is in the Pharmacy but, you rarely see the same Pharmacy Tech twice. I spoke with the store manager at great length, and he was going to call me back. Never happened. Oh and good luck calling the Pharmacy. I was on hold 40 minutes today, finally just hung up. Poor service all around. On a better note, the store clerks are generally friendly and helpful.

This is the most amazing pharmacy chock full of friendly people behind the counter. Don't give up on chains folks. If you live in Salem or close by, this is where you need to fill your scripts.

Pharmacy lunch break hours clearly says 1:30 to 2:00 so why does it seem like they make up their own lunch break hours?
