Wow. From the minute I walked in I was handed samples, informed about the cheese, and immediately felt welcome. As someone who loves cheese this place made me SO happy. The guy behind the counter was so kind and knowledgeable. I left with some new cheeses to try and an adorable tshirt. Seems silly to say but this was probably my favorite part of visiting Salem. And what an amazing selection!

I stopped in and described the best wine I have ever had, and asked for a suggestion. The woman who helped me found a wine that is as close as I have ever found. I will be making this shop a priority when I am in Salem

The staff here is patient and incredibly informed. Not only did I get the perfect gifts for my parents, but I finally identified a cheese I had been searching for over the past six years! Cleanly, friendly, definitely a must for any fromage lover.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Everyone there is lovely to deal with. They will let you sample everything. If you need a particular cheese/ taste they can direct you. They have meats for charcuterie. Wine from all over. And other delicious snacks.

They boast an impressive selection of wines, perfectly complemented by freshly prepared charcuterie boards. And the cheese? Oh, the variety is astounding - there’s something for every palate, from classic favorites to unique finds.Not just about cheese and wine, they also offer a range of delectable chocolate options. Walking around the shop, I couldn’t help but wish we had something similar back home.One thing to note: there isn’t a sitting area for tourists or visitors to enjoy their purchases on the spot. However, grabbing a tray to enjoy back at the hotel is a perfect plan for next time.Big thumbs up for the diverse flavors and high-quality offerings at this charming shop!

Peter and his staff are next level. It's so rare to find people who would rather listen to what you like in order to find you your perfect match instead of constantly upselling. I was so comfortable asking all my questions and never felt silly or intimidated for not having a clue ? They gladly let us taste any of the cheeses we wanted, and helped us choose the right crackers, cookies, wine and beer to go with. They even packaged it for our road trip so that it would survive the week of travel. 10/10 Would recommend ?? p.s. try the Aussie Magic!
