The most horrible bank with incompetent people working for the bank. No one wants to take responsibility for their mistakes. I closed the business bank account along w credit card and the automatic charges still went through after closing the account 3 months prior and b/c the charges went through on a closed account they want me to pay for late fee charge and charges that have gone through to another vendor. Let me remind you I had already closed every account with TD bank 3 months prior. Also, when my accounts were open and I asked questions about their own credit card TD bank, no one In The branch knew how to answer my questions about the credit card service. They would say you have to call the TD bank credit card. Poor customer service. It was as if they were two different entities. The bank from the credit card. tried to make payments for the credit card balance online with their online banking and they got to a point they said I couldn’t pay the credit online, I had to go through another bank in order to pay my credit card. I thought that was insane. This was TD banks credit card service and I couldn’t use my TD bank checking account to pay the credit card. At one time I could and than one day they told me I couldn’t. That is when I decided to close all the accounts and go to another bank. I am much happier at my new bank I moved too. I’ve never dealt with a bank like this in my life. Horrific. I will NEVER do business w them again.

I see that there are a number of complaints. But I have lived near this office for nearly a decade and do all of my banking there. I have always found the people courteous and willing to help -- with banking, notarizing, check cashing, etc. ATM used dozens of times without a problem. I'm certainly not saying the complaints are wrong, but they are just very unlucky -- because I've been there scores of times and never once had a problem. I'd recommend this bank and this branch!

Scam. They charge you $10 per check to cash their own checks. You have to waste your own gas to go to their specific location to get money they already allocated printed on their own official document that you can’t get elsewhere, and they get a flat $10 cut. Hope the check was for at least $10.01, or you just paid them for the privilege of paying them. Eff TD.

This is not your typical angry customer 1 star rant. I cannot stress with enough importance: if you plan on using this branch for business, do yourself a favor and bring your banking needs to any other local TD branch. You'll find burnt out, consistently unpleasant tellers who are unable to assist with anything in the branch - you'll receive promises of callbacks that never come, and you'll never be able to reach them via telephone. It's important to have a bank that you can count on to not only meet your business needs, but do so with a knowledgable & friendly team. You will receive nothing of that kind here. Save yourself the headache and frustration and enjoy the scenery on the bridge on your way to bank with TD on Cabot Street in Beverly instead.

Customer service is non existant at this branch. I usually try to avoid it, but sometimes business takes me through Salem. Driving through and making a business deposit is the worst - clerk refused to help me with the slip.

Made a appointment online! With llona Barat wonderful person she listened to me and took care of my issue right away! It was the weekend so there was only so much she could have done on her part! And as promised when Monday came she called me and kept me updated on my account! Very satisfying with her customer service! Well worth the 5 stars keep up the good work IIona

Customer service is not the strong point for this branch specifically the gentleman at the 1st desk and Dave the teller.Dave is sneaky and snarky it’s almost like he had a fight with his boyfriend and takes it out on the general public.

Updated this review. I have had only positive experiences with the staff at this bank. They have all been very pleasant to me. I've been a TD Bank Customer for many years. My complaint right now is there is no convenient Salem location to do banking. I wish you had at least an ATM here in town that you could make cash deposits. I live close to Peabody, and was going to walk to the one on Main St. Good thing I looked it up on line as it's now closed! Considering Santander Bank for everything, as they have a bank on Essex St here in Salem. The TDBank on Loring Ave is too far of a walk.They need more help, I just spoke with woman named Pam on the phone at the Salem location. Very abrupt with me, and didn't have time to help me. I've been a TD customer for close to 20 years in NH and Mass. Think it's time to change to Santander.

Not a customer of td but frequently visit with my father. This branch has intelligent and very friendly representatives/employees.
