Very informative. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It was real interesting seeing one of my ancestors as part of a museum exhibit

Definitely a touristy cash grab, but I've seen worse. #1 complaint about this place is they let in screaming babies and toddlers. In a scenario where you are basically in a small movie theater, where silence and self control make it possible to hear and enjoy the experience, it's unfair being stuck in the theater with a screaming baby whose selfish need a reality check. They shouldn't allow anyone under 4 to enter the theater, or they should host a special baby hour in the mornings. The story itself and the wax figures are really cool, but they rush you through, especially on the second part. They don't give you time after the presentation to read the plaques on the walls in the second room, which is lame. The gift shop is cool and had some nice book selections. I'm glad I went, but I would have enjoyed it a lot more if I wasn't struggling to hear over a screaming baby, and I wouldn't go back and risk the same aggravating experience.

Not a big deal, but staff are very friendly and informative :)I don't consider it to be something very interesting, they are only scenarios with very very poor quality audio, nothing moves, it only lights up and there are only 2 rooms that you enter, there is nothing scary about it, rather it is a bit informative, the second one room is worse. But the staff is very friendly and informative, you go in because it's part of the Salem attractions, but I wouldn't go in again.

I really enjoyed the presentation and tour at the Salem Witch Museum. I bought my ticket on line and was able to go right in. There was a small group of about 15 people. We were brought into a room with several attractions. There was plenty of room for us to sit and see everything. After, they bring you into another room and go over the history of witches. You are then let out in the gift shop. Perfect opportunity to purchase books, mugs, and shirts.

If you have kids under 12 , then I would for sure skip this. It’s not a “museum” that you would think. You sit in a room packed tight with people and listen to the story of the witch trials. Most of it is audio with a spotlight shining on some figurines but depending on where you were sitting you can’t see all the figurines during the presentation. This might be cool for some people but the adults and the kids were very bored. I wish we would have done something differently.

The house is very old. It is well maintained and really makes you feel like you are in the 1700s.It is easy to find and has a small store where you can find objects and books related to its purpose. The tour is not guided and everything is in English, so if you don't speak the language you will miss all the information. The place is small, so the tour takes about 10 or 15 minutes. The entrance is somewhat expensive and so are the items in the store.

I would give it a zero if I could. The staff was rude. There was little to no information about what to expect inside. This is not a museum, it's a demonic demonstration of spinning history to chastise all Christians for the faults of a few hundreds of years ago.If you truly want a balanced education only the Salem Witch Trials, walk the streets on a tour of the actual historic grounds and learn about these events without going to this awful horrific place. STAY AWAY!!I walked out minutes into the "presentation" horrified and was offered no apology, refund or explanation for what Zi experienced.

You definitely get an overview of what happened with some neat scenes in the main theater. Your tour starts in the main theater (you can sit anywhere and it's fine). Second, is another presentation in a smaller room from a guide which you can tour after the talk. Then you can browse the gift shop. They have a good selection in the gift shop. The museum is worth the visit. Very glad we went.

Exploring the Salem Witch Museum was a truly fascinating experience! Entering the museum's facilities was, in itself, a deep dive into the dark history of the witch hunt. I had the privilege of speaking with one of the staff, whose detailed knowledge of Salem's historical events was captivating. It was interesting to discover that the museum served as inspiration for the film The Witches of Salem, which made the experience even more engaging, as I was able to visualize in practice the connection between historical reality and its representation in cinema. I highly recommend visiting this enriching place for anyone looking to better understand this period in Salem's history and its cultural influences to the present day.

A narrated immersive experience with a small exhibit on the history of witches in pop culture and real life. A bit dated but conveyed the history well. Maybe 35 min from start to finish. Don’t think that this will entertain kids for very long. There is a nice park / commons across the street if kids need to let loose. Staff is friendly. Order tickets before showing up.

This place was so dated.Basically 2 rooms. The first with recorded information and sections above head level lit as it progressed. The second room a lady who imparted some information herself but then pressed buttons to start more recorded information. At the end there wasn't enough time to read all the information on the walls before we were ushered out into the gift shop as the next group would be coming through. An expensive half an hour!
