Jamie, so what? This doesn't warrant one star. People are so petty. My complaint is that I frequently see the cart man outside at night on his cell phone. A lot of employees at local stores are texting and on their cell phones, when they should be working.

A bagger stared at me from checkout until I walked out the exit. I kept looking behind me just to make sure I wasn't imagining it, and she was still staring instead of, you know, working. Incredibly creepy. I'm shopping elsewhere.

For this area, prices are the lowest.
But that is not the only reason to shop here. Two words: Hermit cookies!
Hermit cookies or bars are a New England tradition, dating back to the 1800s, though the original recipe is likely far older.
Honestly, Market Basket has a solid bakery section. Period. Their chocolate glazed donuts are better than many at specialty shops. You can tell I'm not lying by the fact that they are always out of them! ?

This is a great supermarket with a large selection! Almost too large, as it is very busy in the aisles. No quick self checkout from what I remember either. Other than that, I would rather go here for the deals and the variety. Just plan on adding a few minutes to your shopping trip due to the inconveniences listed

Called in for a product and was told its in stock. Drove 45 minutes to hear that it's out of stock. Horrible customer service and even worse management.
