A must. I come to Salem every year for 5 days. I spend the first day pampering myself. A vacation should included some pampering. Well I picked the right spot. These ladies were very friendly and accommodating considering I just walked in with no appt. An offer of tea, water & a sweet treat when you walk in. I had a wonderful facial and hand massage. I left relaxed with a soft clean glowing face. It’s Right on Essex street by the Bewitched statue. Clean and pleasant. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of Salem and treat yourself. Thank you ladies. I’ll be back.

OMG! I do not know where to begin, these women are fabulous. My daughter Janessa booked us facials and massages for our first trip to Salem, they fit us in, my daughters flight was delayed and we still showed up. The conversation, with all the women was perfect. I felt like we were treated like royalty. The hospitality was amazing. Patrice was great! Conversation as well as massage. Laura (I believe) did my facial was so kind, (thank you for scolding me about tanning) lol. We will be back next September. Including the receptionist you ladies made us feel so very welcome. Thank you again. I will be reaching out for product, no flare ups with my Rosecea. xoxoxo

Had my first ever facial with Laura and it was excellent. A very pleasant and down to earth person with 30+ years experience as an aesthetician. I told her I wanted to buy some skin products but didn’t want a cumbersome 5+ step process, so she recommended just a cleanser and moisturizer based on my skin type / issues and these have also been excellent. I ended up getting a breakout cream as well and it works great. My skin is the best it’s even been. Thanks, Laura!

Every aspect of this business is above and beyond phenomenal. From customer service to convenience of location, reasonable pricing, and relaxing aesthetic, they truly care about the details. I primarily go for massage therapy, and Patrice is absolutely fantastic, attentive, and skilled. I was recommended to see a massage therapist for healing after a neck injury, and Patrice has worked wonders. Absolutely recommend on every level.

I’ve been going to Barbara for massages regularly for 6+ months now. Barbara is the first massage therapist I’ve seen more than twice in my life, and for good reason. She perfectly balances relaxation with muscle recovery, and always asks what she could do even better the next time. Also, Christina at the front desk is super pleasant and hospitable. Highly, highly recommend.

I’ve been seeing Barbara for full brazilian waxes for over a year now and she’s amazing! My first wax was a horror story brazilian years ago at a different business and never thought I’d get another one….until I met Barbara! At first i saw her consistently for bikini waxes but I had such a good experience that I was able to face my fears and start getting full Brazilians. She’s so knowledgeable about her work and very kind/understanding (i’m so pain sensitive lol) and I couldn’t recommend her more!

Laura is literally amazing. I had my first facial with her and I immediately booked another appointment when I got home. I have sensitive skin and all of the products she used were soothing and felt fresh. My skin hasn’t felt this nice in a very long time. I booked the custom bioelements facial service and Laura went over the proper at home skin care with me as well. The space is also very comfortable, inviting and clean, which is always appreciated.

Let me begin by stating that I rarely write and do reviews, because I believe word of mouth is much more effective, but the reviews I read of this place, and it being walkable from my apartment, I decided to give it a shot. This places sets the standard and now expectations very high for any service of waxing in my book. I've been going to Laura Lanes for a couple of months now, and I genuinely enjoy the feel from walking in, through the service, and end up leaving already excited to come back. Barbara has been waxing me and is great at setting the tone, communicating, and the end result has been the best I've received (and I've tried a few places around the Boston area). I'm currently out of town and am looking forward to scheduling my next waxing appointment and will absolutely be trying their massage and facial services as well. If you're wondering if Laura Lanes is worth your money? 200% Yes!

Started going to Laura Lanes a few months ago and am very happy with it. Patrice who does massage is excellent. Charming and very pleasant. i did have my first facial ever with Laura and i will have more. Very. relaxing atmosphere! I'm planning to have them do makeup for a special event. A good friend has been going there for years; glad I am going there now

Barbara is absolutely amazing! I went in for my first facial ever and was fairly apprehensive, putting your skin in the hands of a stranger for the first time can be nerve-wracking. Barbara was not only super gentle but very knowledgeable. She helped guide me towards caring for my skin better without making me feel bad for not already doing so. I really appreciated the way she walked me through each step of the facial and kept me informed of each product she was using. Did i mention that i left with my skin positively aglow? 10/10 will book with her again!

Every time I fly in to MA I’m sure to book w Laura. Best facial. Always thorough, friendly, and she always provides a good prescription for follow up and maintenance. This salon is so much more personable than many others!
