I highly recommend DiveKS for your SCUBA training needs. I just completed my Open Water certification, and all parts of the experience were excellent. Every step of the way, Kirk always clearly explained what we were going to learn in each session, and taught us the material with patience and understanding. He focused on safety as a top priority, and I always felt secure when I was in the water with him. I also really appreciated the student-specific approach that he used, allowing me to progress faster or slower based on my ability to learn the material. I had so much fun on my open water certification dives, especially when we saw a MONSTER lobster off of Back Beach in Rockport! I can’t wait to do more dives. Thanks, Kirk!

Best dive center in the area by far! Kirk was an incredible instructor and went one on one with each student to make sure everyone fully master each of the skills. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, and I recommend them to anyone interested in diving!

My son and I had a phenomenal experience with KS diving and Kirk. His thoroughness, attention to detail, enthusiasm for diving, and knowledge made our experience outstanding. We feel like we got an excellent diving education and look forward to more training in the future with KS.

I came to Dive KS through a referral program with another dive shop. Experiencing the teaching styles of both shops, Kirk and Erika come out on top in so many ways!Kirk and Erika's expertise and extensive knowledge about scuba diving were immediately evident, making me feel comfortable and reassured throughout my entire experience. Safety protocols were followed meticulously, creating an environment where I could rest assured that I was safe.Beyond the exceptional diving experience, the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at Dive KS made me feel like part of a close-knit diving community. Kirk and Erika's genuine passion for diving and their commitment to providing outstanding customer serviced shone through every interaction. They were always available to answer questions, share stories, and make recommendations for future dives. I cannot recommend Dive KS enough. I cannot recommend Dive KS enough!! Three (3) things that let me know this was the very best place I could get my Open Water Certification at:1) Dive KS will ABSOLUTELY make the experience fit your personal schedule! At most other places, they have set days to start and end a class to ensure they get as many students as possible for each session, which brings me to my second point….2) Because they accommodate YOUR schedule, the classes are small, and as a result, the level of attention and instruction is far more detailed and thorough than in clases with 8, 9, 10 students.3) There were no shortcuts when it came to safety and instruction. I appreciate the level of professionalism in ensuring that when I get out there diving, I’m not a risk to myself or a liability for my dive buddies.Kirk and Erica truly made the experience for myself and my teenage daughter a great one and I’m extremely grateful for that. Patient, knowledgeable, and they take pride in what they do. I look forward to continuing developing my skills with Dive KS!! Jason C.

I’ve been diving since I was 12 years old I have 29 years of that experience I worked with a dive company as a teenager in the tropics, got to dive all over the world while in the military, the only reason I’ve gone with DIVE KS is because of the professionalism of the instructor. while I’ve gone through other institutions within the region they’ve pushed me through or not adhered to the requirements just to quickly get me certified out the door. Now what made me stay with DiVE KS is because they made me do a review before they took me on for my master diver certification in doing so they found discrepancies in my previous certifications from other DIVE programs, which we then rectify to ensure the safety of myself as a diver and other divers that I’d be working with moving forward I would only dive with this institution. They adhered to the Safty of the diver first and foremost and were awesome to work with since I work full time they communication with them was amazing, then they worked around my schedule best they could. We were doing pool work at 8pm one night because that was the only time i could get to them. If you want safe and professional go with this group.

I had booked a dive charter with a group guaranteeing 4 passengers a month ahead. A few days ahead of date, the owner and scheduled captain of the boat said he had recently scheduled himself to teach a class and was not honoring the booking commitment. Our booked charter was canceled on us. My group had cleared their calendars to make this dive and were left without an option to dive. Owner said he would 'keep us in mind' but I have concerns about a customer being canceled like this and trusting the business going forward.

My son and I recently went through the Open Water Diver course, and we had a wonderful experience with Kirk and Erika at DiVE KS. They coordinated everything for us and were very generous in working around our busy schedule. Every time I contacted them, whether through email, text, or call, they responded immediately, even outside of posted operating hours when I didn’t expect to get a response.Kirk gave us a warm introduction, walked us through all of the necessary gear (explaining in detail all of the nuances that newbies like us couldn’t yet appreciate), and he helped us purchase what we needed without trying to upsell. Kirk was an exceptional instructor in (and out) of the water. He was organized, systematic, and extremely competent. He was patient and rigorous without being pedantic. He freely shared his own tips and tricks, which helped immensely to reinforce the particular skills that we were covering. Kirk made us feel like he wanted us to succeed, and he made sure that happened.Thank you especially to Kirk and Erika, and to the entire team at DiVE KS. We plan to continue our dive journey with your team, and we happily recommend your crew to anyone.

Captain Kirk might be the best scuba diving instructor out there. I was a failed-once student from a resort certification class while the rest of the family members got certified like a walk in the park. Also in general I am just not very comfortable with water. But I did make a new year resolution to get certified so I can join the rest of the family. I have to admit that I had lots of doubt when starting the class. As time went by, with Kirk’s systematic step by step instruction, I slowly gained the confidence that I might be able to do this. I still can’t believe I actually got certified last week as I started with not being able to jump into the pool just a couple of months ago.I am so grateful that Kirk helped me achieving this goal through tireless patience, encouragement, solid knowledge as well as the simple yet precious integrity of being the scuba diving instructor. Kirk has opened up the rest of 70% world to me, so I get to see the colors that belong to the under the sea wonder. More importantly, Kirk helped me to overcome some biggest fear that I had toward the water. For that, I am forever grateful.A big shout out to Erika who is equally patient, sweet and considerate. Thank you for helping me to tick off another bucket list.I can’t recommend this class enough especially if you are like me .

We had the best experience with Kirk and DIVE KS getting our 13 year old Padi certified. Kirk is meticulous, takes extra care to ensure his students are fully knowledgeable and is a top notch professional. The team was flexible with our schedule, generous with their time, patient, and just great people. We will definitely be back. Couldn’t have asked for a better, more professional experience and our son is very well prepared to dive as an official Padi OW diver!

Highly recommend Dive KS and their team! My wife and I were looking to get certified and we were provided an abundance of knowledge and guidance before beginning the process. Kirk is an amazing instructor. He is very patient and encouraging. Kirk also instilled the confidence needed to complete the skills and ensures readiness. The team is super accommodating as well. Overall, a wonderful, fun experience!
