Went there in the winter time but still beautiful place to walk. The bathrooms were locked but I'm sure that changes in the spring and summer time. Nice beach overallPicnic area: They had a picnic area where there could have been portapottys but I didn't see any. There was built in BBQ pits though which was nice

Nice place for a walk, If you are not comfortable with dogs this might not be the place. We see a lot of unleashed dogs.

As always, the aesthetically astounding Scusset Beach never disappoints. The strong current and crashing of the powerful waves left some nice treasures washed up on shore. Left with an assortment of colorful sea glass. About 15 gems

It was a rainy day and off Season. It was great. We were spied by a seal bobbing in the water. Bathrooms are closed during off season.

It’s a nice place to visit even in the cold season. The boardwalk, the beach, the sea grass are all beautiful. It’s very close to the upper cape so you don’t have to drive far into the cape. Parking lot is big. It even has a playground right there next to the parking lot.But summer can be busy and a lot more people. That’s for sure.

This state park was nice. It had good beach access and was very clean. There were a couple of things campers should be aware. First off, water hookups are centrally located, so in the center of 4 sites, so bring a long water hose. At least 100 feet, maybe 150. We ended up going to an empty site closer to hose bib every other day to fill since our 75 foot hose wasn't even close. Second, most sites do not have a campfire ring or setup. They are allowed but have to bring your own. Their are some that have them, just most in the middle around the common bathhouse did not. Showers were decent with good water pressure and bathrooms were large, multiple person use. All sites are walking distance to beach parking and beach so made it easy to let the kids ride their scooters and go play for the day. Playground if good for 3-8 year Olds and is adequate. Overall for the price good solid spot to stay.

Favorite MA beach! Pack as light as possible and try to carry everything. Once you hit the sand on a hot day, all hope is lost with lugging supplies. Snack bar, bathrooms, life guards. We love it here!! Parking fills up fast on weekends. Need to get there early on the weekend or may not get in.

Apart from waiting 2 hours to get in, from 10 AM due to a full parking lot. The long walk to the beachfront and no bathroom facility on the far end of the beach. Umh, this beach would have received five stars. And they are open till 8 pm. The bathrooms close at 6 p m.

This beach is simply beautiful. They have bathroom facilities and outdoor showers. They also have a snack shack with ice cream, great freshly squeezed lemonade, and other treats. My husband and I bought the year parking pass through the Yodel app so we can park as much as we want without paying for parking each time. It’s definitely a great beach to spend a lazy day listening to the waves. Highly recommend.

The beach was well attended midweek but has plenty of space to enjoy the views of sailboats passing. The water is a bit cool so I would save it for the hottest of days. Considering the high out of state plate parking fee of $40, the amenities and restrooms could be better updated to make it worthy of five stars.

This is a great place to go if you're forced to leave the Cape earlier than you wish, in order to stay ahead of the horrendous bridge traffic - (what we did over memorial day weekend) - here you can still enjoy walking on the beach and seeing the ocean. Challenge yourself to walk all the way out on the jetty!

Great beach. Sand bars at low tide. I've been there 5-6 times, and I've never seen waves big enough to boogie board on. Appreciate the clean bathrooms and having a shower available. The snack bar had an ice cream served in warm fried dough cone. It was very good though a little expensive at $12 but it was enormous and could easily be spit between 2 people. Great family-friendly beach. The worst part about this beach is the long walk from the parking lot to beach.Restrooms: Womens' room was clean and had 2 showers. I am wondering if they will ever fix the soap dispenser. It was broken when I was there last year too. You can still get soap from it.
