When my car was towed there after an accident that wasn't my fault the owner of the company went through my car WITHOUT my permission or knowledge while I was in the ER and found my title that was in a sealed envelope and opened it.
*************THAT'S A FEDERAL OFFENCE*************
After I left the ER I went to my car to get my computer and taxes, (but couldn't find my title which I thought was odd since the other piece of mail that I had with it was on my dashboard with my taxes). This was 4:15pm on a Friday, and they closed at 5pm per THEIR WEBSITE. The owner said "they closed at 4pm and he was being nice and stayed open for me". He then proceeded to ask me at least 5 different times if I had collision coverage because if not I was responsible for all the charges. Never mentioned my title he took and opened without me knowing that was in his office; I later found out from the allstate guy who inspected my car and took pictures of it in his office.
I was also told by a dispatcher at Rutland PD that my car was in a secure area and my doors were always locked. I went to my car twice after that and both times my car was NOT locked and no one came to check on me while I cleaned it out so anyone could have taken things out of my car.

This is my second time using kustom fab and what can i say: they are outstanding. As good as experience as you can get! They are so professional, will look out for you, and make your car look brand new.

Had an accident with my 2018 challenger shaker. This shop came highly recommended by a friend and family member who works here.I am beyond blown away at the quality of work done by kustom fab. The paint job they did on the car is literally like factory. It has less orange peel than my brand new factory painted 2023 durango. I still look at it a week later and am blown away.Dave, Bobby, and his crew had to deal with headaches of aftermarket parts that were already on my car when I bought it and then the headache of me turning it into a custom widebody. I know this was difficult for them but they did EVERYTHING they could to make sure it came out flawless, and it really shows.Take their high ratings seriously and trust that if you bring your car in for repairs you will get the best service and quality that the auto industry can offer.

I had been looking for a custom shop to modify a 2006 Jeep Wrangler, Unlimited (the LJ) for at least a couple of years. There were definitely some good places but the age of the vehicle limited a lot of my options in terms of what they could do for me. On my way up route 146, I saw the sign for 146Kustom so I turned in to talk with the front office. I left my number and the very next day got a call from Carol. I explained some very preliminary ideas and a budget. She immediately got to work and within days sent me options. The 2006 LJ is not super common and getting parts that fit is hard. Carol told me, "We're a custom shop, if we can't get the parts, we'll make them for you". It was a very can-do attitude right from the beginning. We worked together for the following weeks as we shared more ideas and added to the list. I met the guys in the shop and the owner, Joe, along the way. They made so many suggestions based on what how I wanted the Jeep to look, and all of them were great. They modified the Jeep completely. By the end of about 5-6 weeks they had the Wrangler looking new! The work was professional and meticulous. They paid attention to every little detail. Carol always followed up (even when I didn't), communicating about everything. The pricing was fair and upfront, and they advised against certain things to make sure I am not wasting time and money. I am 100% going to keep working with 146Kustom for more additions and for my other vehicles. I highly recommend the place to anyone looking for even the slightest modifications!Services: Body & Trim

I have used Kustom Fab twice in the last year (Neither time my fault). In both instances, I have been impressed at how quickly and effectively Bobby responds to my needs. They took over the process by handling the towing of my vehicle, communication with my insurance company, and fixing my vehicles to perfection. When we pulled into the parking lot to pick up my truck I couldn’t believe how great it looked. The very first thing I noticed was the beautiful shine and the perfect front end. It literally looked like a new vehicle. Kustom Fabrication really knows their business and went way, way above for me and it is very much appreciated. This is the second time I have had the pleasure (even though it was due to an accident) of working with them and both times I have been extraordinarily pleased. Dealing with anyone in the office is always a pleasure as they are all kind, courteous, helpful and knowledgeable.My truck not only looks great from the repair but it was also detailed.
