We spent 2 nights and loved our experience. The attention to detail with the hot chocolate bar and the coffee and tea selection made it special. Nice continetal breakfast. We loved having a fireplace in our room. Dinner at the Grove was excellent. The staff was very kind and we will be back soon!

It's too much to put into word's. I've stayed here several times and it's amazing. It's nice when there's not a wedding or venue going on because it's amazing without the drama. It's quiet and relaxing I enjoy it. And they welcome you like family, kind ,respectful,helpful and most of all making sure you have everything you need and they care.thanks again for a great visit.

We loved everything about our wedding at Grove at Briar Barn Inn! They worked to accommodate all of our requests, as we were not doing many "traditional" elements. The fact that everything is in one location made all of the planning so much easier and move along so easily. Our wedding coordinator, Emily, was incredibly helpful to us! I never thought I would have had a wedding coordinator for my wedding, but Emily made me a believer! She anticipated every need and took over navigating various last-minute changes and challenges so that they had minimal impact on our day and we as a couple were not having to be burdened with the additional stress. Thank you to Emily and her incredible team!

A must stay! The rooms are nice. The Inn is beautifully decorated. The front desk staff was very friendly and knew lots of information about the property. The Grove restaurant on site is a definite plus. the food was delicious and the waitstaff top notch.

The staff at the Briar Barn Inn helped us put together and host our wedding, it couldn't have gone better! We had such a wonderful time, and had a large number of guests tell us after the event that they were blown away by the quality of the rooms as well as the service. The holiday decor was also phenomenal!

I cannot put into words how much we loved our wedding with Grove at Briar Barn Inn. We were so impressed with EVERYTHING the venue and inn had to offer throughout our entire planning and wedding day experience.We got married on 12.31.23 - New Year's Eve! Both Grove and Briar Barn Inn were beautifully decorated for the holidays - our guests described it as magical and like a Hallmark Movie! I highly recommend booking out the entire inn (if your guest count allows for this), because it was so convenient to have every room filled with our favorite people. Our guests loved and appreciated the convenience of staying onsite. The rooms were so nice, too. Overall, the venue fulfilled my dream of a charming, elegant, cozy, barn wedding.Our guests couldn't stop raving about the food and drinks after our wedding. The bartenders brought our specialty cocktails to life and the dinner selections were unreal. 11/10!Alyssa (our assigned wedding coordinator) was so great! She was so incredibly helpful, answering all of our questions promptly and being the most helpful human ever on the actual wedding day. She was quick with guidance and recommendations. We felt so well taken care of on our special day. Thank you, Alyssa!!I could go on and on about Grove at Briar Barn Inn, but just know, I wouldn't have wished my wedding were anywhere else! We booked Grove for our wedding ceremony/reception and it was an excellent decision! We were so happy with how the day/weekend turned out, and our guests raved about the venue, the food, the service, the Inn. We had a wonderful time working with Emily and her team, they did so much to make our day special and have everything go off without a hitch. Their experience shows, and we very much felt we were in good hands every step of the way. Have your wedding here!!

The Inn is so cozy. I am staying in December, and the place is decorated so beautifully and elegantly for the holidays. I especially love the tub to soak and relax in. There is a large TV over the fireplace (cleverly hidden behind cabinet doors) that I can watch from the chairs or the bed.The Grove restaurant, on the grounds, is also really sweet and cozy, and the burger I had there was excellent. This is a very nice place to stay if you really want to get away--you don't have to leave the Inn grounds at all. However, if you're looking for a trip with lots of things to do in the surrounding area, this may not be the place for you (although I love to head to nearby Newburyport to shop!).Things I did not love, but will not stop me from staying here again because of what a great overall experience I had: I had a hard time getting the gas fireplace to light each time I go to use it, which may be my own issue. I don't love that the timer for the fireplace makes a constant noise while the fire is going. I also wish there was a way to have tea or coffee (or just hot water) in the room, but there are tea/coffee stations around each corner, in the hall, which is sweet. I did get woken up a couple times by people walking in the room above me (didn't get to sleep past 6:45am because of it). I must be a light sleeper. Next time I'll request a second floor room...

The Grove was the perfect place for my wife and I to get married. The beautiful decor helps keep the cost of decorations to a minimum. The staff put everything out as we envisioned and they were able to accommodate anything we needed. Having the hotel on the property also made everything that much more enjoyable. Getting ready in our rooms took away a lot of stress. Our wedding coordinator Jeannine LaVesseur was great! She made sure that every detail on our wish list was met and moved heaven and earth to make our dreams come true. We couldn't be happier with our choice!

The Grove is an amazing restaurant with the most delicious food, especially their tater tots! My husband and I were fortunate enough to be able to have our wedding there and the convenience of staying at the Briar Barn Inn afterwards. From planning to conception everything went off without a hitch! All of our guests had an amazing time and loved the beautiful atmosphere with our wedding floral arrangements and the Grove's own Christmas decor (which was free of charge for us!). Not to mention, the food was delicious! Everyone was raving about the tater tots we had served as our late night snack, so good! Our event coordinator Julia was incredible! She was so sweet, kind, accommodating, and on point! Anything we asked for, she delivered! We received so many compliments for her from our guests asking where in the world we found her, they loved her and so did we! Looking forward to our next dinner date there! Love you guys! <3

There is not one thing that I would have changed about having my wedding at The Grove! It was everything I imagined, and more! Where do I even start? The ambiance is absolutely breathtaking, it was so warm, inviting, and cozy! I knew from the start I wanted to have a barn wedding, but after looking at a few different venues nothing caught my eye. Well, all that was just meant to be because the second I saw The Grove I immediately knew that that was where I wanted to get married! It is stunning, charming, and intimate to say the least! We went for a tour, and after seeing the venue, the grounds, and the inn I was in awe! The booking process was very straight forward, and every staff member that we have met along the way has been so friendly and helpful! And I can’t forget to mention the absolute life saver that they provided us with, Planning Pod! We were able to make payments, create our floor plan, put in our guests’ meal choices, and so much more! The process really couldn’t have been any simpler! We decided to get married in December, which meant that The Grove and the grounds were beautifully decorated for Christmas! The garlands, the wreaths, and the thousands of lights just completely sealed the deal! It was an absolute fairytale! Julia was our assigned event coordinator and she was the sweetest! On our first meeting, she put my mind completely at ease and already had everything under control with the schedule of events and locations of where everyone needed to be at what time on the day of the wedding. She had no problems with any of our menu customizations or requests, and pretty much answered all of my questions before I could even ask them! She went above and beyond on the wedding day with making sure that we both had enough to eat and drink, that we had a piece of each flavor of our wedding cake to try, and even boxed up our food that we didn’t finish so we could enjoy it later! Speaking of food, it was delicious!! When I tell you that our guests are still talking about how amazing the food was, and all of the hors d'oeuvres that just kept coming out, no one went hungry that night! As another plus, it is so convenient to have Briar Barn Inn only steps away from The Grove, not only for us but also for our guests if they chose to stay since we live 2 hours away! We stayed 2 nights and I’m so glad we did! The rooms are beautiful and clean, the staff were so friendly and helpful with whatever we needed, and we cannot wait to go back next year to celebrate our anniversary! I could go on all day, but just know that you will not be disappointed with having your special day here at The Grove! It was so magical, I instantly missed it the second we left!

We got married at Grove at Briar Barn Inn this past November. We wanted to have a small wedding (less than 100 people) and finding a venue that hosted a smaller wedding while including food and drink catering in the package was difficult. The competitive pricing, quick communication and on site Inn made the decision very easy to go with Grove. From start to end, our night went so smoothly. Emily, our wedding coordinator was super easy & wonderful to work with. She made sure everything went without a hitch and that we stayed on schedule. From our short and sweet ceremony to reception, everything was incredible with top notch food. Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and we are so grateful with our decision to have it with Grove at Briar Barn Inn.
