“I have visited this lovey shop off and on for 5 or more years! Joanne is a lovely women with a good eye for picking merchandise that is not soon in any of the stores large and small in our area! There is parking in 2 lots in the area or you can go by bus! The outside decor catches your eye! You want to go in with the window displays she does! Check this shop out!”

“This is a small business run by two very nice, and professional guys. I went in with a stone that needed resetting. I told them what I wanted, and they were very attentive, made notes and told me that they would have to create the setting since the measurements were not standard. They do everything on the premises so I knew that my stone would not get sent out. Within a couple of days, I was told I could come in to look at the wax cast, and approve before they started the work, which I did. With in a week it was done, and when I went to pick it up, I was surprised that it exceeded my expectations. The craftsmanship was outstanding, and the finished piece was just stunning. They do all of this for a very fair price, and they really care about the workmanship. I would recommend this jeweler to anyone who needs a repair, or a design. I will never go to anyone else, this is the place!”

The ring's intricately designed, so I was initially hesitant to do any work on it because I didn't want it to change the look.I was blown away by the quality, care and craftsmanship that went into this job. “Incredibly caring and honest people. I had wanted to upgrade my diamond ring for my 10 year anniversary. I even said what if I bought a lab diamond instead and Michael said do not do that! Do not get rid of your natural diamond even though I make more margin on lab diamonds because they are so cheap for me to buy in comparison to naturals. Michael told me to keep the diamond because it was blessed at my wedding and sentimental to my husband, and instead he would create the setting of the diamond I wanted which was oval instead of round. Michael was incredible and the ring is stunning!!! He worked so hard in making sure I’d love the ring. This family is incredible.”

“I had the best experience at Freedman jewelers! I went in to get a ring resized and was absolutely blown away how amazing Josh was! I had gone to a few other jewelers and just felt like they were pushy or wanted me to do more and Josh never made me feel that way. He made me feel like I was the only customer and really took his time with me, even showing me how a slightly different setting would be better for our future band. “We found Cynthia on Instagram and fell in love with her work. We do not live in the Boston area and knew that all of our consultations with Cynthia would have to happen remotely. This understandably made us nervous, but Cynthia very quickly allayed our fears. Cynthia is an exceptional artist and professional. Throughout our entire process designing our engagement ring, Cynthia was attentive and answered all of our questions. We had two different videoconferences with her: the first to discuss the general design of the ring that we wanted, and the second to look at the diamonds she sourced for the ring. She sent us several photos and videos of our diamonds and the finished product. She also promptly responded to every email we sent. The ring was exactly what we wanted and fit perfectly. I would encourage anyone interested in purchasing a custom engagement ring to work with Cynthia and to not let physical distance be an impediment! “This shop is a gem in Roslindale! When possible, I tend to do most of my shopping locally. Spending money in there community ensures that is stays in the community.As the seasons change, so do the available items here. In the spring, I buy some seeds for the garden. The summer months have products more associated with that. As we head into autumn and winter, the focus shifts toward the holiday season. I always buy some Christmas gifts here for various family and friends.The store is always busy during Small Business Saturday and the holiday markets.They stock a variety of items such as cards, jewelry, home decor, clothing, and lots of localy-themed items such as coasters, towels, and glassware.Everyone who works there is extremely helpful and takes the time to talk with me. This is something that you generally don't get in a large chain store.In conclusion, this is a great store and comes highly recommended by me!”
