We booked here because it's where all of the wedding guests and family stay.Over All Quality: a little better than a motel 6 or Econolodge, below Best Western or Holiday Inn, far worse compares to any of the Hilton's Garden Inn, Homewoods suites or Marriott's Springfield inns.The room: standard double queen sized beds, TV, microwave, fridge ... etc. sqftage feels tighter than a holiday inn. The mattresses (at least for the ones in our room) were old and too springy. I can feel that I am sinking in the bed. Nor too comfortable to sleep on.Cleanliness: acceptable. I am a little OCD with human hair, and I am not talking about the ones falling from our heads. Since my kids like barefoot everywhere, the first thing I check is the bathroom and shower. And yes, I found hair on the bathroom floor and on the far end of the wall.Breakfast: There's not much but coffee, juice, English muffins, bagels, yogurts, muffins, and hardboiled eggs. No savory like bacon and fried potatoes.Breakfast ends at 10am, I was there at 9am, and they were out of hardboiled eggs and English Muffins. There was not an attending staff member there to restock.

The room was nice, but the women’s bathroom by the pool needs some TLC. I didn't appreciate having to get changed in a room filled with mold. ? The staff were friendly and helpful. The place could definitely use an update, but the lobby was nice. Also, their Google pictures are outdated. There is no hot tub and the pool was freezing.

I really want to give this place a good review because the hotel itself and the rooms are nice but because of the temperature of the indoor pool area and pool itself I can’t. We came here for the night for my birthday for the sole reason it had a nice looking indoor pool. Well the pool is freezing all the vents are blowing in outside cold air and my family and I are miserable. I asked at the front desk and was told there is nothing that they can do. We are sitting here on the pool steps as I type considering just packing up and driving home. What a waist!!!!

The hotel was clean and nice. We enjoyed staying there. Breakfast was pretty simple - but even that was appreciated considering it was included in our rate. Would stay here again.Walkability: It’s relatively close to downtown Rockport.

Me and my husband came in September for our anniversary. The room had hair on the phone and on pillows. One pillow case had some slobber on it, terrible.The breakfast buffet was enjoyable, so was the swimming ?♂️ pool. It was a Nicety experience, bad for anniversaries.Rooms: Need to be cleaned better.

Would give 3.5 stars if I could. The main building of this inn is absolutely beautiful. It looks super modern and the staff is really nice. The rooms were okay. I wasn't expecting an outside motel like entrance, but wasn't much of an issue, just a surprise. It had a little bit of a musty smell but didn't feel dirty. I inspected the beds and they were clean and the amenities of the hotel were nice. They had a gym, fireplace, indoor pool, and a place to work from. We picked this place as it is only a 20 min drive from downtown Salem and much cheaper than staying in Salem in October. It did the job and we enjoyed our stay!

The room was nice and clean, the bathroom smelled a little bit like pee and it was quite small although functional. We really enjoyed the patio with the smokeless fireplace, breakfast was peaceful and there were lot’s of option, my only complaint is that the paper plates were too small, I could only fit my bagel on it.We were able to walk into town from here but the road was really busy and the sidewalk was narrow so it was kinda sketchy safety wise. Overall though an enjoyable stay!

The staff weren't that communicative or welcoming. Rooms were OK but they smelt very musty, it was making my partner and friends feel sick. We had to go get our own air fresheners. There were a number of light switches that didn't do anything or give a main light. Fire pit was cool though as a positive and its proximity to the main town.

Everything about the room was dingy, towels included. Bed cover was stained and questionable if it was clean. Sheets were soft, but as in "old and worn" soft. Bathroom door was dirty. I would never stay there again and do not recommend it.

This hotel is fairly non-descript from the outside, clean and neat, but no bells and whistles. That all changes when you walk into the well appointed lobby complete with cozy gathering area and fireplace. Despite the complaints of other reviewers, our room was not an outside entrance-there was Wi-Fi-the water pressure was strong and the water hot. The rooms are neat and clean - deep cleaned, not just surface cleaned. Most important there was no heavy fragrance in the room. The bed was cozy and comfy. Even though the property sits along a main thoroughfare, road noise is minimal and we're slept well with the windows open. We spent time around the fire pit with friends and the evening was spectacular. The indoor pool looked inviting, we'll have to partake on the next visit. Breakfast is served in a spacious dining room with booths and tables. A good selection of grab and go foods and some protein. Toni made sure that everything was fully stocked and the coffee was hot and plentiful. I appreciated her smile and friendly attitude. A great stay!

I don‘t understand why this hotel has a 4,3 rating here on Google. Do not bother staying here!- Rude staff, especially the middle aged woman with the curly hair (not manager), no friendly greeting when checking in, no help when problems occured etc.- Room was big and that is it. Smelled of mold, felt damp and faced the parking lot. We had a 300 room and no wifi connection. We were from overseas, but they told us they cannot do anything about it. They tried to tell my husband with a masters degree in IT that the weather was the problem. Which was magically not the case at the front desk area.- Street and parking lot in front of room door are very loud, no good sleep!- Everything looks dated and would need some TLC, looks not like it looked on the pictures.- Worst breakfast ever! They must produce so much plastic trash with all this packaged stuff they offer. Laziness over environment I guess. Cheap food and not a lot of variety.Never again! This is way to expensive for what you get!
