Bought a Subaru Outback less than 3 years ago and it was a complete LEMON! Nothing but trouble and major repair bills since I owned it. Have spent more on repairs in less than 3 years than the original cost of the car. Would not even start when I picked it up. The latest repair was so expensive the shop told me it was no longer worth it and to immediately get rid of it.Buyer beware on this place.And by the way I sent an email to John Lundgren on 12/26/2019 (only a little over a month after purchase) with the first sign of issues (check engine light on). Sent another email on 12/16/2020 (barely 1 year after purchase) about multiple repairs needed and significant expense. Sent another email on 7/31/2023 when I was informed there were thousands of dollars in repairs needed and again never heard back.

I can’t say enough about Southern Auto Sales and the ease of purchasing a top of the line used car from them. From the minute we walked through the door, to the time we drove away with the car, John went above and beyond in making this sale as smooth, and informative, and stress free as possible. We arrived not realizing they had just closed for the day, but knowing we traveled a good distance to get there John took the time to take us out on a test drive. During the test drive he went over the inspection and tune up work they did prior to putting it out for sale then gave us an idea of the typical maintenance on the vehicle. Their prices are more than fair with no fees and absolutely no pressure. He then handled all the paperwork with financing and insurance and registration. When we arrived to pick it up he had put in gas, put on our plates and made us a free key (he only got one with the vehicle). I HIGHLY recommend going to see John if you are in the market for a used car! We will be back! We have bought several used cars over the years and this was the best experience all around by far! Thanks again John!

Will tell the public that they can ship cars but when you drive 6 hours roundtrip to buy a car, they'll then change their tune and claim it's a "liability issue" forcing you to rent a trailer.

After chasing cars at other dealers only to find out they were already sold, I found my new outback at Southern Auto Sales. Spotted my car online late at night, called first AM, (John answered before working hours), and bought the car. Southern Auto Sales had good reviews and car was as advertised. Will not hesitate to do business with him again.

I contacted Southern Auto Sales looking for a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon TJ. I received an email back within minutes stating they have one that they were prepping for sale. I went to look at it and knew I would not find a better TJ. It was in great shape. I purchased it and once I was in possession of it, I took it to a mechanic that I trust and he inspected it. He found a few minor issues and Gary took care of each and everyone of them on his dime. Buying a 14 year old jeep in that good of shape, Gary taking care of the minor issues and the great experience with this dealer I highly, highly recommend them especially if you are looking for a Jeep Wrangler. I don't know how they get Jeeps in such great shape.

I bought a car from Southern a little over a year ago. The service was unmatched for a used car dealership. John was excellent in so many ways. First, the car I bought had a ton of miles for a 2015 and John's price was more than accommodative. Second, John was able to nearly remove the smoke smell completely from the car himself and honestly made it feel like a brand new car. Third, I had a nuanced issue with my registration which John really had nothing to do with but he was still able to help provide guidance as to how to get it resolved. The entire buying process truly felt like I was buying a car from a close friend. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to Southern for those looking for quality used cares coupled with excellent service.

Great prices and the cars are all in great shape. Usually when you buy a used car the first thing you have to do is get new tires, well not at this place. Great plus. The owner is a very nice and knowledgeable man. His father who helps gets the cars ready does a terrific job bringing out the shine. I couldn’t be happier. Thanks guys.

I had called on one of the Subaru Foresters for my daughter and the car salesman I spoke with seemed disoriented. He had trouble answering basic general questions and did not get back to me after he said he was going to call me. Poor experience.
