“This corner market/deli has been in New Bedford FOREVER! I don't know how many years, but I know a very very long time. Well, I have had food from there through other people's cookouts, etc. but had never gone in there and purchased anything myself. So I finally go there so I could buy a couple of sandwiches. The place was pretty much what I expected. It was simple and sort of reminded me that it was stuck in the 60's or 70's, which is fine with me. I don't judge, plus I love those times. Anyway, we got 2 sandwiches, one a honey turkey & honey ham with just cheese and mayo, and the other being a honey turkey with cheese, veggies & mayo. Both on Portuguese pops. For something so simple and not fancy they were DELICIOUS! And only $2.99 each! Loved it! I will be back very soon for more.”

“Market basket gave me a bad customer service experience rude non existent manners etc. what a difference buying here. Rare items? In stock. Homemade sausage and desserts? Fresh in stock. Wines, port, seafood salted cod herbs meat steaks ribs fish stuffies. Went in for a Christmas goose came out arms piled with extra goodies. Went back in and thanked the staff for turning my holiday food shopping experience from bad to good. Now I now where to go. You should too. Wonderful.”
“Great little neighborhood grocery store. I've stopped here a few times now on my way to different places and the same two guys always seem to be there. They are always polite and helpful. They sell beer and wine as well, and I believe I heard them speaking Portuguese in case that is your preferred language. Also, they do accept EBT there.”
“This is the kind of Supermarket where you have to go every single week to see the specials. If you time it just right or you go at the right time of the day you can get some really good deals on excellent produce and sometimes other departments as well. It doesn't have a lot of name brands that doesn't have a great selection it doesn't have a lot of the things the big stores have but if you just going in for one or two quick things or you're a regular buyer of a particular item You'll Always Find it there.”
“I am at Hannafords in Middleboro numerous times a week, often multiple times in one day. I have not encountered a single employee there who has not gone out of their way to assist their customers (including me): They say good morning, will help you find products, are more than willing to look in the back room for products that are out of stock on the shelves, and get to know their customers on a personal level. They perform their jobs with a smile, even on the hottest and busiest of summer days. The store itself has a wide variety of items, but is a manageable size that it does not feel overwhelming. Since moving to Middleboro last year, this store has become the only one I look forward to shopping at.”

It's the perfect spot to stop in for a quick energy drink or coffee in the morning and has enough variety in groceries that I rarely need to go to a supermarket. Their prepared foods and made to order sandwiches are excellent and the staff is also helpful and friendly. A great place if you're in the area!”
