Enjoyed shopping there for many years! The S&S employees are very nice, polite and helpful! I prefer to check out with a human cashier vs self check out. In my opinion, this location needs to hire more cashiers. There have been many times that the check out lines were long and there weren't enough cashiers on duty to open and assist customers with checking out.

bad customer service (not the pharmacy’s fault, the only time they can breathe/think is their lunch break). bc coordinating they’ll give you multiple different answers regarding issues, say they’ll get back to you and never will, and routinely either ignore the phone ringing or put you on hold until you hangup… but i would do the same in their situationthis is most certainly because they’re short staffed and overworked, I’ve never seen more than two people working and they’re always doing something. stop and shop set them up to fail from a customer service PoV. when you can interact (recommend in-person) with the actual pharmacists and techs are all awesome tho (~: with or without goodRx they’re cheaper for most scripts than my insurance… if you’re gonna shop, my recommendation is to touch base there first and start on the opposite side of the store, because they’re so short staffed they might fill it while you’re shopping cuz they’re so backed up.thank you to the actual pharmacy workers there

If I could get half a star I would . I go to one of the worst stuff and shops in the planet and today it was late they bought brand new bottle machines that don't work and they haven't been working and then they won't take the bottle so it becomes an argument about the five cents that builds up . So today I went ahead a bottle one bottle and they had to get the guy to empty it out . And corporate told me that they're not supposed to be doing that . So as I'm waiting for my one bottle to be put in the machine he cleaned it out and then dumped everything he says it's fine I walked up to it and I went down so hard it wasn't even funny I've never felt anything like this my back my neck my head my my knees I don't know how the hell I hit my knees . He left and got Heidi the front manager . She's been a problem before well after today I pray she gets fired but doubt it . As I'm on the ground she's telling me not to move and I just was upset and shocked and everything cuz I know I had so much to do and now I know I'm going to be physically out of everything . And I said I've only God damn took that one bottle for 5 cents this wouldn't have happened . She goes well I'm not going to sit here and be abused and she walked out and left me on the floor literally in the bottle room floor Hurt and all wet. one left in the floor . There was some very young skinny kid trying to help me up I literally had to lift myself up . Then I had to go shopping I was in agony I used to pushing my body too pain. I asked Heidi I tried to come over and have her come over to me to talk she refused I want someone to help me lift up all the heavy stuff that I had to do no. Then I pay and I leave and then they're acting like idiots which is what they usually do when she's working . I'm in Target looking around and I've got to get my prescriptions and I called my sister and blah blah and for right back home and my brother-in-law with four broken ribs had to help me lift the stuff up cuz no one stopping shopping take their time to do it . As I'm walking around Target all of a sudden I see Heidi and two of her goonsquads . She came in to stop and shop for two of the employees why they're being paid to work at Stop & Shop to follow me around and videotape me that is such a violation of my life I've never had anything like that happen to me and then she's walking out she's holding up the camera acting like a goddamn idiot . I was screaming for help and then security came I know the kid . I explained it to him he said I would call the police he said they're not supposed to be recording you and he said if I caught them in here I would have told them out . The police would not come . And he looked at the video he said they were following you for some time and recording you. My brother-in-law came I'm trying to lift the stuff he's got four broken ribs I'm injured and it was a nightmare . And I realized I only got one watermelon I got you I didn't want to go back to that store no matter what . But I had to go in I sent to the kid I don't didn't get the other watermelon he wouldn't answer me . So when the girls I was trying to figure out who she was she goes oh yeah I was in there looking for towels when she was following me around the store . I want to see who she was and she got paid in your face . So Heidi says call the police so long story short I fell in the bottom I am in agony most people so and I got a bad back this problems bad neck arthritis bad knees bad and I hurt everything over 5 Cent bottle that they wouldn't take . And the people who are collecting bottles and cans off the street thousands of them go in there jam up the machine so when I go and get my fuel that I get that I purchased at the store I can't do it because they won't take them and the machines are broken they won't fix the machines brand new machines . Zack is the pharmacist and he is awesome. Very attentive, super helpful and efficient. You cant ask for better pharmacist. He deserves all five stars.

I go there only because it's close! I would go to Wegman's or Trader Joe's more often if they were closer. My Friends say go to Market Basket...It's too busy 4me!My main complaint is the lack of customer service! I was in there on Friday and two registers were open with long lines and the self checkout line was long. Although most of the employees are really nice, S&S does not have the same culture as Wegman's and Trader Joe's. In both stores, several registers are open ,if you ask a question, you can find someone and they are SUPER FRIENDLY and appreciate their customers.

On the site that said no appointment needed to get a Covid vaccine. So I came here just to find out that I needed an appointment because they have nobody around to give me a shot. Waste of time.

I shop here all the time with my sister. The help that I've seen are committed and are always doing something.Even though they are VERY short handed. They are doing everything very well. Also the pharmacy gets 10 stars because they always make time to answer questions.I can't remember the girls name (she has red hair like myself!) is the best. Also the pharmacist with the Spanish accent is wonderful ?! They all are.

Your self check out machines are years away from being ready to take over the work of human beings. It's absolutely ridiculous watching one poor women frantically running from machine to machine fixing issues with the broken machines. She was out of breath and totally overwhelmed. You had two human cashiers on a busy Sunday. I just moved right next to you but will never ever come back. Absolute cash grab. It's insulting.

This dump hasn’t changed since the last time I was here! I moved over year ago , moved back to area. This store hasn’t changed one bit. The manager should be fired! Never any wipes in lobby! Never enough registers open, most of the help is hanging around service desk talking. Plain and simple this place is a joke!!!
