After a lengthy illness, my mother's fierceless battle took her from us. Some have said it's the circle of life, others welcome one's passing, but for my family, like many, she's no longer with us. She suffered and watching her struggle to breathe knowing the oxygen was to alleviate our stress. Mom, you'll forever live in our hearts. The staff at the Lighthouse varied with care. If your loved one was with a weekday staff member, rest assured their needs are met. The activities staff member is fabulous. Geriatric care to him was where you could not just watch him thrive, but his patience, dedication and care to his patience is second to none. The nurses and CNAs are great. Now, the weekend CNAs leave lots to be desired. Many of them spend lots of time on their cell phones. It appears and/or comes across as a burden to move a patient. A roll of the eye, sucking of teeth or muttering occur when you request to have a loved one change. your loved one. Feeding time is hectic. Patients eat cold food. Exactly what occurs when you leave?Often times these centers are understaffed. However, if you have time to chat on your cell phone then prioritize your responsibilities. Refrain from rolling your eyes bc the person you love and care for needs a change of position clothing or an adult diaper.Again, the weekday staff alleviates one's concern. I do believe it's Jessica and her team which maintains this place afloat during the week. Managwrs take note. There's, much to be desired with most of your weekend staff.

The lighthouse has a wonderful administrator - Kim Brailsford who is very passionate and caring towards the patients, family members and staff. She instituted a new policy to have all of the patients go into the large, sunny activity room for lunch. There they are surrounded by the nice company of other friendly patients, staff, and listen to music while eating their meal. Wonderful idea- Thank you Kim

The worst place I have ever been in my life, the dirty place, there are mice, the assistant on duty, a very lazy lady, by the way, I told her after seeing a mouse and what the woman said was, it's small, it's not going to do anything to you, I screamed like no. You can imagine, and then the nurse on duty arrived upset and told me he's gone and I don't see anything and they left me here all scared without being able to move since on November 1st I just had surgery on my knee and hip so I can't move. They say this place is five stars, I don't give it any, the place is very dirty, it smells bad, the rooms have a lot of furniture for the type of people who occupy them, the majority are disabled, you don't have room to move, this is disgusting, the worst place, I'm going to put videos. and I can see the mouse, I'm going to record it

As a visitor, I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the Lighthouse. Not only was the facility impressively clean, but my cousin was clean and nicely dressed. She told us about options she had during the day to stay occupied. And, no complaints about the food either. All in all, I felt confident that she was well cared for at the Lighthouse.

I am very Covid cautious. I bring a Co2 detector with me when I go to public buildings. I noticed that the Co2 levels in my aunt's room were low, which indicates that the air ventilation is adequate which helps keep residents and visitors safe from contagious 'bugs'.

My Uncle has been living at The Lighthouse Nursing Center since 2021. He is well cared for and has activities as well as developed friendships. The staff is warm and caring and they always reach out to us if they have any issues or concerns. I would highly recommend this facility for your loved ones.

08/21/2023- My sister Maria's journey ended on 08/14/2023. This is the day that she died. The last week of her life was a challenge not helped by Lighthouse. On the morning of 08/14/2023 I received a call from her and she was struggling to breathe. I rushed to see her and I found her lying flat with oxygen tubing but the oxygen machine was turned off and unplugged. I am not sure how long she was lying there without oxygen but she never recovered. She was rushed to the ER at CHA in Everett where she was pronounced dead. She was 53 years old.

A Nightmare Experience with Lighthouse Nursing Care CenterI cannot express enough how horrendous my experience has been with Lighthouse Nursing Care Center. From start to finish, dealing with this facility has been an absolute nightmare. The absolute disregard for their financial responsibilities is astounding, to say the least. After providing our services to Lighthouse Nursing Care Center, we were optimistic about a timely payment for the services rendered. However, it quickly became apparent that their promises were empty words meant to string us along. Multiple attempts were made to contact them regarding the overdue bill, but it's as if our messages fell into a black hole of indifference.Their refusal to pay their bill is not only frustrating but also deeply disrespectful. It's clear that Lighthouse Nursing Care Center lacks any semblance of professionalism or integrity when it comes to fulfilling their financial obligations. It's one thing to have financial difficulties, but it's an entirely different matter to blatantly ignore invoices and dodge payment requests without any explanation or consideration.Furthermore, the lack of communication and transparency throughout this ordeal has been nothing short of infuriating. It's incredibly unprofessional for a business to avoid addressing the issue and leave their vendors hanging, wondering whether they will ever see the payment they rightfully deserve.I urge any vendor considering doing business with Lighthouse Nursing Care Center to think twice. Their actions reflect a complete lack of respect for those who provide services to support their operations. The level of unprofessionalism and disregard they've demonstrated should serve as a red flag for anyone seeking reliable and respectful business partners. In conclusion, my experience with Lighthouse Nursing Care Center has been a lesson in how not to run a business and treat vendors. Their refusal to pay their bill after multiple attempts and their overall dismissive attitude towards their financial responsibilities have left me frustrated, disappointed, and appalled. I would strongly advise others to stay far of this establishment if they value their time, effort, and financial stability.

They are great staff team!! Excellent from the minute you walk in till you leave!!! Mom is very well taking care of. How ever they need more strick policy towards visitors. Today I walked in to see a visitor yelling at the nice receptionist because she felt she dint have to fill the visitors information in (she basically wanted to just walk in) she was very aggressive with body languash n words!!! I dont think the young man or ANYONE should have to put up with such disrespect n I believe everyone of us visitors who behave that way should be all ask to leave! It was very uncomfortable to hear n see how this lady behaved. Just like they(the staff) are held accountable for there actions so should we!!! That move young man should not have to seat there n take that disrespect. The time was between 5-6pm for camera purposes.

Beware of Lighthouse Nursing Care Center's payment practices. They do not care about continuation of care, as a service provider, I have experienced ongoing issues with delayed and unpaid invoices. Despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter, their accounts payable department has been unresponsive and unprofessional. This situation has caused significant financial strain and frustration. I strongly advise caution when considering any business dealings with Lighthouse Nursing Care Center, as their failure to meet their financial obligations reflects a lack of integrity and responsibility. Prompt and fair compensation is crucial in maintaining professional relationships and upholding ethical business practices.

My Dad just got through spending 8 weeks of rehab at the Lighthouse 2nd floor, my thoughts are the nurses are amazing and the aids did a great job with my dad. They have a gorgeous service dog there named Kona the most precious dog and perfect temperament ever, she came in dads room every day to let him pet her, she would even lay by his feet he said to bad he couldn’t take her home, what a great addition to the facility she is. I gave the lighthouse 5 stars for the care from the nurses and the aids all were so very kind my dad wanted for nothing. Thank you to all the wonderful workers there on the second floor you all rock as does physical therapy…..
