This place has changed a lot I used to go here with my family but now it's so different my family got kicked out because we brought our kids and the lady up front was yelling at us to get out without explaining why we're getting kicked instead of going here I recommend going to Danvers it's so much better and you can bring your family

Horrible manager and management. Extremely lacking in respect and customer service, let alone common decency and sense.Facility was happy to take our money all summer without ever turning Air Conditioning on. As soon as fall arrived , manager point blank refused to let us play at all because we cancelled only 1 appointment and cancelled it way in advance and sent him a cancellation in writing as well as called him over the phone to apologize.FYI, we played there twice a week for almost a year, and the manager still treated us this way, so you can imagine how he would behave with even newer customers.Manager has been consistently rude , grumpy, and crass pretty much everytime I had to deal with him.I highly recommend NOT to go there...Many other establishments that treat paying clients with respect, let alone turn on the AC so clients can have reasonable experience.Stay away from this location and this manager.

Great facility with extremely poor management. The management is unprofessional and provide poor customer service. They are already loosing customers and this mindset must change if they are to maintain existing customers.Note: you will find the good reviews go before 2019

When I thought this may great place and rent filed on early weekends morning. The girl who is on charge give us attitude turn off the lights 5 min before finishing time and screaming to get out calming variably that she is the Boss.... !!!! I couldn't believe this the place we been attending 14 yrs

Unfriendly people there who have an attitude for no reason, and an ownership who cancel on us without telling us. Got to be the worst Teamworks center in greater Boston.

My boyfriend and I LOVE this gym. Lou is great, the space is great and even when it is packed you still feel like you have enough room. Great for girls who like to stretch and do their own things bc they have a few different rooms in addition to the main floor and upper level.

Not wearing masks. Dude at desk doesn't enforce mask wearing people walking around not even a mask on the chin just free birding bare faced their whole workout

I love the array of free weights, shoulder press racks and hammer strength machines as well as being the perfect atmosphere to get a really intense and satisfying work in. I just wish they had a couple of decline situp benches for a good ab work out. Overall this a good gym

Used to be a good gym but new ownership has ruined the business. Equipment is constantly broken, gym is very dirty, etc. lots of the equipment is shut down because of Covid too, which makes it seem very crowded. New Management doesn't care at all, which is a real shame given that this used to be one of the best gyms in Boston.

Good selection of equipment and lots of people who compete. Could be a great gym if owners/mgmt wasn’t so lazy.All 4 stepmills have been broken for over a month. No plan in place to fix it.Lots of equipment closed for “social distancing”. We’re going to be under these social distancing regulations for awhile, wouldn’t any gym that actually cared about it’s customers rearrange the equipment so that it could continue to be used?Bring my own wd 40 from time to time because zero maintenance done on the equipment.Also, closes at 9pm. Hours are terrible.

Not properly maintained or cleaned during the pandemic. About 1/2 the amount of people that go here do not wear their masks properly and their staff does nothing to enforce the mask policy. This issue has been addressed multiple times and no change has been done, the three-strike system they claim to have in place is a joke. Revere is a hotspot for covid-19 right now and it's establishments like GBF that keep it that way. I used to love this gym and the staff was great. Now? A dangerous place to get a workout in.

DUST & RUSTDisgusting place and this is cleaned after COVID! No one wears masks! Trashy people of course, it's revere....All the cardio needs to be trashed, worn to death belts and the dust!!! I can't empathize enough how disgustingly dirty it is here! COVID might be the least thing you would walk out of this place with! CLOSE THIS DUMP DOWN!!!!
