The Local Mail Is Terribly Slow; Bills Come In Past Due Or Not At All! No Longer Go to This USPS Location as I Have Had Poor Experience With Them Losing Even Certified Mail in the Recent Past!

Incompetent. I mailed a priority package almost a month ago to Nevada and it is IN JAPAN. Spent over an hour trying to reach a representative before I finally hung up in anger. This is insane.

Everyone at this branch is the nicest. Always smiling and asking how they help. Our regular Carrier, Kathy who does Purchase st. is always so pleasant. Knocks on the door if the box is too big and always follows up with certified or registered mail the next day. We get 5 star service here. Thank you everyone.

This is one time I wish I could leave negative stars. This post office is the worst of the worst. They used to have a television blaring at all times. It was recently removed. I. have never seen one employee there smile. They are like grumpy, sour faced mean old people. They make it clear they don't want customers coming in and bothering them as they socialize and complain in the back.'I've waited at the counter many times while these people carry on personal conversations. One lady there snaps gum loudly while she drools on your stamps. There is a really nasty guy , I think he is called Arthur who closes the doors at 4:20 and refuses to acknowledge anyone who comes to the door. Just an all around miserable place full of miserable workers.

I would like to start off by saying that I rarely leave reviews for anything. And never to simply complain if negative but to help others capable of doing so to remedy the problem. If you say you close at 12:00pm on Saturday. Do NOT lock your doors at 11:58am (or even 11:59am). I know that might seem ridiculous. But I'm not “venting.†I don't mind even so much for my sake this time but 2-1 minutes can truly matter to someone trying to send a package (especially on a Saturday when they now have to wait till Monday). I would be more understanding if it was a restaurant and someone could come in and sit down and order a meal and keep a ton of people there way past normal. Still, closing time is closing time and not before but I would understand the workers and even management doing so. Someone coming into a business LIKE THAT that late is rude. But a POST OFFICE should stay open until the exact minute. Someone just trying to send a package that takes less 30 seconds to weigh and give a receipt for (prepaid label, everything set to go) isn't going to kill you even if they came in a split second before closing. Yes we all want to go home asap. I do too at my job. But before closing time the customers have priority. Including 5 seconds before. People may not have a good excuse for being that late or they may have a very good reason, but workers should never lock doors before closing time period. Especially at a business such as a United States Post Office. It is unprofessional.
