I've been to this a few times for supplies as a stained glass artist. I've never been terribly impressed, but it's the closest to me. I prefer Whittemore Durgin (in Rockland) or Absolute Glass (in Methuen), Most recently, I came in for brass tubing and shopped scrap glass, only to find the place is being taken over by a rather aggressive little man. Glass scrap that was usually $3 a pound was suddenly $5 a pound (which is a ridiculous price). I purchased some brass tubing at $1 a piece. Two weeks later, I went back for more brass tubing (thinking it was hard to find) and the price had gone up! I purchase what I could afford with cash, since they now suddenly took cash only, and drove away. Worried that I wouldn't be able to find tubing again (and that the new guy would raise the price AGAIN), I stopped at a gas station to get more cash and go back for more tubing. When the angry little man saw me come back in, he refused to sell me any more. He said "I need to price it out, first." When I said "but you just sold it to me for $xx a piece ten minutes ago!" Nope. He wouldn't sell it. Said he was trying to figure out the shop and pricing and wouldn't sell it until Monday. If you need to "figure out the pricing"--shouldn't you be closed until you do? Shouldn't you sell the items you sold just minutes ago for the same price? I doesn't really matter--because a quick phone call in the car, and I learned that Whittemore Durgin (a REAL stained glass shop) has the exact same pieces for 50 cents each. Bye, Stained Crap Emporium. Never going back there again!j

The hours on Google said it was open Sat 9-2pm, the hours on Facebook said that, the hours in the store voicemail said that, the hours on the store door said that...drove over an hour to visit Saturday 11am and it was closed. Super frustrating.

Avail the craft chain stores. Please go to a privately owned store where people are experts and can assist you with any project. Stained glass and fusing supplies and tool selection like no where around! Prices are comparable if not less than anywhere else. May look a bit disorganized but the staff can lay their hands on anything you might to looking for.
