I have been sewing for over 30 years. I do a lot of quilting and stayed away from patterns that had piecing . Once Covid hit Loraine had a Covid quilt sponsored by Northcott fabrics. The quilt consisted of a total of 48 blocks. I decided to jump in and with Loraine teaching us on video on Facebook I was amazed at how easy it was. I am over the moon at how my blocks came out. I am almost done putting the top together. She has opened me to a whole new world of quilting. I am sewing everyday and this has been my outlet during this difficult time. I have started As time goes by which she is offering. Looking forward to the next 6 weeks . We are truly blessed to have Loraine in our backyard. I had given Loraine a bunch of my old tshirts that I couldn't bare to throw away but wasn't wearing any longer. She was able to turn them into the most beautiful quilt. It is pretty big. It fits over my queen sized bed with a lot of extra room. It was put together with a fleece backing that helps keep me very warm, especially right now when the weather is so cold. I would definitely recommend her services to anyone in the future. I am really very happy with how it all turned out!

Attended a class today. I received a personalized "how-to" demonstration for a difficult part of a sewing project I am tackling, along with "hands on training" for the sewing machine I brought in (which was inherited from my aunt). Lorraine is a very attentive and excellent teacher. Fun shop to browse in as well. And, if she doesn't have an item in stock, she can probably order it for you!!!

Thanks to Loraine's talent, patience, and dedication I was able to give my wife a once in a life time gift, that she absolutely loves. Thanks Loraine, people like you are far and few. As far as the store it has everything, as far as the price it was more than fair, as far as Loraine you will not find better.

I made my daughter's first Easter dress using the Kwik Sew patterns that are available here (I also bought adorable fabric and buttons for the dress from here as well). I am somewhat a beginner sower of clothes and was encouraged by the easy read pattern. I had the dress made in a matters of days (which is good for me). I have had not as much luck with other pattern brands that can be hard to follow. One stop shop and great advice for my sewing needs.
