Asked for out the door price and instead of answering the question, they keep following up with “do you want to finance or pay cash? “That is irrelevant. If a dealership does not give you the out the door price and tries to factor in how to bump you in price and ask you questions like “what payments do you want?” “What interest rate do you want?”“How will you pay?”RUN.They never pick their phone up now they just please hold and then hang up over and over. Ask the out the door and handle the rest. Ask if Gap covers 150% and get your own financing. They can raise the interest rate. Good luck. These guys failed.

They are true scammers. I purchased a vehicle from them in December and they told me it was clean no prior accidents. I go to register the vehicle and they RMV tells me that the title they have mine was not the most recent title. I go back to them and they said they would get me the “real” title and took 2 whole months for them to get it to me. That was a red flag to begin with. Recently (9 months later) i take the car to a mechanic who informs me that the vehicle has a salvage history which i had no clue. I should’ve known they were scammers since i had an issue getting the actual title from them. Apparently this is their norm. DO NOT BUY CARS FROM THEM. READ THE REVIEWS. I SHOULD’VE DONE THAT AND WOULD’VE KNOWN WHO THEY ARE.

My son bought a 2008 BMW 328i from First Stop Auto Sales, in April 2023. On his 2nd visit to the dealership, I went with him to test drive and ultimately buy the vehicle. The gentleman explained to me that the car had been previously deemed totalled but was rebuilt, as all the vehicles there are.I inquired as to the safety of this, since I was unfamiliar and wanted to be sure that my son would be driving a safe vehicle. He assured me that all the vehicles were inspected and that he would never sell a car that was unsafe. I believed and trusted what he said.Since we live in RI, the title had to be redone. This was completed and title was picked up on May 31, 2023.On Monday, June 19,2023, my son was driving on rte 95 during rush hour(5pm),coming from Middletown RI DMV,where he had literally just registered the car.He was driving 65-70mph and the car suddenly made an explosion sound, as the driveshaft broke and the shifter shot out of the gearbox, hitting and breaking the windshield, then ricocheted back and struck him in the side of the head.He was somehow able to maneuver the vehicle to the side of the road without causing a major accident. The state trooper that responded to the 911 call said he was lucky to be alive because the shear force of the shifter being propelled and breaking the windshield could have taken his hand off or shot through his skull or he could have rolled the vehicle.(Did I mention it's a convertible and he had the roof down?) This is not a phone call that any parent wants to receive. He was very lucky to walk away with a contusion on his temple and a concussion. The day after this happened, my son called First Stop Auto Sales and spoke with the gentleman that sold him the car. He told him what had happened and hoped that he would help him in some way.The gentleman requested pictures, which my son sent that same day. My son never heard back from him.I called our insurance company but they will not cover any of this since it is considered mechanical. So, my son is out almost $7000 from between what he paid for the car, registration fees, replacing a tire that blew out, oil change, filters, spark plugs, etc. It took him a long time to save up that money...and what does he have? A car with a couple of giant holes in it(that need to be replaced & welded),a car that (obviously) doesn't run (and is going to take a lot of money to fix), a broken windshield, a concussion and having to figure out how to get to work each day.We were told this was a safe car but definitely was not.He had the car for less than 2 months. This happened 19 days after receiving the title. I am a reasonable person.I understand the 30 day warranty had expired and that things happen. However, I was assured that this was safe vehicle but yet my kid could been have killed, less than 2 months after buying it. I'm not sure how any sales person could sell a vehicle and live with themselves knowing all this and be ok with it. If it had been 6 months down the road,I wouldn't have said a word. But he had had the car for such a short time, that we hoped that First Stop Auto Sales, in good conscience, would compensate him or try to right the situation somehow. If they had even apologized, offered an explanation or tried to remedy the situation, this would have been a totally different review.I have written an email to First Stop Auto, (over 2 weeks ago), again, explaining what happened and provided pictures as well. Just as in the case with my son, I never heard back either...no apology, absolutely nothing.Apparently they can't be bothered.

Called this morning and spoke with a woman. Inquired on 2 vehicles & if they were still available and if I could come and look at them. Was informed they were available and I could come look at them. Arrived within an hour (had a 40+ minute commute) just for the doors to be locked around 11:00AM and no one answering the phones, stayed within the area and tried calling for 2+ hours no response. The Gentlemen in the back (possibly mechanics) were also of no assistance and only referred us to call the number on the front lol.

Wasted hours of me and my wife's time here. We have a new born as well. They will try to rip you off. They tried to pass pff a toyota camry over blue book value that had rust damage that was cheaply and poorly fixed. To the average person the repair looks okay. They are scam jobs 100%

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE. Bought a camry off these people a few years ago. Turns out when I went to reregister the car after state police got involved it came back that THEY SOLD ME A SALVAGED CAR! It was such a headache and ever since then the car has been nothing but a headache. What I had to go through to get a rebuilt salvaged title due to misrepresentation was ridiculous. You'll be hearing from Rhode Island state police.

Went to look for a better car then what i had as my car was in very bad shape and left that day with a newer car. The husband and wife were very professional and helped me above and beyond. I'll update my post once I drive my new car I just got from them. My mechanic even told me how good this new car was. They have nice cars and very honest about everything. Ended up just getting a 2009 Honda Civic.

My car died on a Wednesday and luckily the next day (Thursday)I found a car I wanted at First Stop. I met a member of the dealership, took it for a test drive and put a deposit down. On Friday Jaileen and I were in constant communication filling out all necessary paperwork. We completed all paperwork in one day via text, email and fax. The following Tuesday I drove away with the car. This was by far the easiest, most efficient and quickest car buying experience I've had in my life. Strongly recommend!

I am very pleased with the vehicle I brought from here the beginning of the year. I love the way my car drives I have not had any problems at all whatsoever

I would definitely recommend First Stop Auto. A few weeks after buying a car from them,It had a problem. They fixed it right away. It’s nice to know they stand behind the cars they sell. Knowing that, I would buy from them again.

If I could rate no stars I would, I just drove an hour and a half to look at one of their cars. I confirmed with the sales rep it was okay during that time so I took off work and made the trip to find out it was sold.Terrible communication on social media formats0/100
